Right now is pretty close. Waveclear mids and ADCs who never walk up to ward so you can't catch them, then 3 3.5k hp tanks in the other roles who you can never catch. The games just go until a team gets bored and tries to engage or do baron and immediately lose. NA isn't boring to watch though since they don't know how to play safe, watching stixxay and huhi getting caught 3 games in a row will be fun.

Yes, Ghostcrawler is right about why players stop playing a game. But listening to the players who aren't having fun anymore isn't the same as chasing the people who quit, and might not be the same as chasing the people who are about to quit (because xyz...).

If Riot tells me that people are less toxic when playing with their friends and people that play with friends are more likely to continue to play, I believe that because it sounds reasonable and matches my own expectation. But they've really dropped the ball in terms of that smaller portion of the population for which dynamic queue has failed (high MMR players), and it's up to them to decide whether they want to "fix" it.

It's pretty clear that Doto's 1-queue and 2/3/5-queue are the way to have your cake and eat it, and it's pretty clear that HotS' party queue failed, so I don't know why Riot didn't learn from them.
