The scaling on Str and Skl drops significantly at 25. If you never intend to use your tricked R2s or L2 (which would be rather strange), Str scaling stays roughly equal to the Arc scaling, so you could, I guess go 50/25/x, I haven't really heard of anyone doing that.
Also as far as I know, all of the attacks, even the untricked R1s, carry at least a little Arc damage, so it isn't a total waste leveling it.

I just couldn't beat her on my first walkthrough, I even stopped playing for a while and when I came back, still couldn't beat her, so I relied on summons to progress in the game. Other bosses were nowhere near as hard to me, so when I got to her on ng+ I prepared to get wrecked multiple times. First try, I figured I'd just watch it's moveset since I had forgotten it, but ended up beating her easily.

Anyone else had similar problems with bosses most people consider easy?
