Ironically, I think the most interesting thing about the Vath is how the "single minded" tribe you deal with are the odd ones out given their culture. Ramuh is the single standout that makes me want to doubt Hresvelgr. He has no overt desire for conquest, and they don't *appear* to take in thralls like th other primals. They simply want to retain what they feel is theirs, and are rightfully worried about the unbalance of the shroud. He even concedes and admits the possibility of his being fallible both times you encounter him.

I can't overstate this, I really love Ramuh as a character in the story, and the revelations about Shiva just made it feel a bit cheap to me. It would be nice to see them walk it back even a little bit down the line.

You are physically unable to access Ishgard for these classes until level 50 and completing the 7th Umbral and 7th Astral main story lines. The astral era quests get a bit tedious, and require probably upwards of a dozen dungeons. If you intend to speed through it in some optimal fashion I would suggest Arcanist for DPS Summoner while questing and being able to queue as Scholar healer when dungeons/trials/raids are retired for story progression. If someone were to get 60 in all crafts today, and have not dabbled in red scrips at all, would it be a good idea to focus using red scrips to gear up WVR/LTW so they can craft higher end gear for the other craft jobs?

If you had lv60 gathering classes and were not adverse to getting red scrips and using em on favors, then you can very efficiently use your scrips for crafted hq gear instead of the straight bought 180 gear. This is only worth it on the armor pieces tho. MH/OH you'd need a quad meld to outpace the premade il180 pieces.

So, if you have gathering, it'd be much easier if you dont mind the additional time sink.
If not your hands are basically tied unless you can buy favor materials off the MB for the 2star materials.

No, you only need a white set i150 appropriately melded to craft the 2*. Either get someone else to do it for you if you want to be safe (preferably a friend who will not overly price you) or do the melds yourself for it. You should be spending the red scrips on turning the favor(gatheringh) items into the expensive craft materials. i170 crafting is better than i180 crafting gear period, you only need 3 sets of it though since 3 specializations to craft 3* for.

Aside from the job-specific armor, they can all wear the same tank gear. You can't really go wrong with either. Gladiator/Paladin is a little more simple overall to learn, Marauder/Warrior has a bit of extra learning to handle as the levels increase. Try out both to around 20-25 and see which you wanna take further first.

Overall though, Warrior is a bit easier to maintain enmity with early on compared to Paladin, since they get their tank stance earlier.
