I am expecting some sort of Big's Fishing Thing 3 game tomorrow. It will be a simple flash game (or HTML5 or whatever, something browser based) and full of memes and poking fun at terrible Sonic games and Sonic-related dialogue. The game will actually be pretty good gameplay-wise and popular youtube people will be LPing it for the next week. Everyone who's not into memes and such will be extremely angry, especially /sthg/.

There will be some sort of incredibly subtle yet cryptic message once you beat the game. The message is actually an announcement for the 25th anniversary game. The Sonic twitter plays dumb ("whoa guys I don't know!! come to the party on 7/22!!") and the fandom continues to argue and fight with itself and life goes on as it has. Nothing really changes.

This is honestly what I think will happen. It makes sense to me personally based on the cryptic BS we've gotten so far along with how Aaron acted at the panel.

It's not really that bad to be honest. Probably one of the more decent pre-Unleashed 3D games, which isn't really saying much as the bar isn't exactly high, but it's not that bad. Only real problems I had were the fishing levels which often felt luck-based and didn't really fit in. Also almost every boss fight was pathetically easy, especially Gamma's (Sans the final Beta fight)

I love Sonic Adventure 1, not even nostalgia goggles, only got around to playing them when I was like 19. 23 now, that's depressing.

There are a lot of moments where you'll crash into walls ruining your momentum because the controls really aren't grand for running in a straight line for some reason. Windy Valley Zone for a good example.

I always see this, I mean, I've had a couple of times but not to the extent everyone goes on about it. I've gone through a wall I shouldn't have like what, 5 times, and I've played that religiously.

I agree on the outdated but enjoyable.

The controls could be better, of course they could. The camera could also choose better times to work, and of course the fucking moments where it's completely scripted. But quite frankly I don't give a shit cause you can spin-dash into mach 5 and using a 30 degree ledge shoot to the moon.

I love the game, it's not bad, it's not exactly incredible nowadays, it's quite dated, but you can still have a lot of fun with it.

Thank god for the railing on that section, because otherwise I'd swerve off to the left or right and die constantly. That was the only part of the game where that happened oddly

It's not the controls causing you to crash into walls, it's the camera giving you unbelievably-shitty angles to work with. You can actually see how the camera in the third act of Windy Valley on the straightaways has a slightly-off-to-the-side view that screws with your ability to run in a straight line. The controls, on the other hand, are the stuff of legend.

Honestly that could be pretty useful in combat. Maybe she can see weaknesses in her foes or right through walls and shit. Good eyesight is nice to have. Enhanced vision is a godsend
