You can apparently carry over shit if everyone dies, so I wouldn't worry about losing everyone.

I don't understand why some people are legit upset that the characters die, that's one of the reasons I bought this game

Is sophie supposed to be hard? I have all characters lvl 20+, Items doing 250+ DMG AOE hitting everything, healing for double my max HP, regular attacks doing 100+ damage, chain attacks doing 200+ and AOE healing me.

But most boss monsters one shot my characters. My Armour sucks ass, my HP is low, but I'm not sure how to make it better aside from enchanting them, but I never have enough money. To be fair my party is nothing but low Armour characters. Sophie, Leo, Prafta, Harald.

I find it pretty hard to be honest.
Personally I did a lot of testing at the start and I found out some tricks behind this game.

You can try this:

1. Get the skill that lowers your initial stats but gains % stats over time.
This will max out your stats over time to 999, provided your base is high enough.
2. Get your base stats to a moderate level, particularly AGI and ATK.
This is to make the upper limit to 999, as well as reach it earlier.


What did it for me is to also have this:

3. Get the other skill that increases your stats when you don't move.

I was able to beat the game using first 2 characters. That required some luck though, first 3 is a lot more comfortable.

The key to this game is the following 2 points:

1. Only damage output matters, since it's possible to play a perfect game and don't get hit.
2. Except for the third form's poison damage, which deals a % damage.
You need to cater to that. I recommend using first character's death to seal it.

The "success" of the N64 is some crazy revisionist history, the Gamecube absolutely paled in comparison to the PS2, and well, we all know what happened with the Wii.

Module farming isn't too bad once you know what to do. Guess I'll just dump what I know since the wiki isn't updated yet.

After you clear everything on normal you'll have 1 crystal per area. They cap at 7 and each step unlocks a new live event for the modules related to that element (Medley ones and stuff like V3 Miku). Once all areas hit a number of crystals (2, 3, etc.), you unlock a Special Live.

The special lives are important as they're the easiest way to farm a lot of modules. Special Live 3 has a guaranteed rare Neutral Module, 4 is Cute, 5 is Cool, 6 is Beauty, 7 is Chaos. You can just pick whatever songs you want a bit of practice on as long as you can clear the last song's chance time consistently.

Special Live 1 is for the Christmas outfits, 2 is for some random rare module (Orbit for Miku). 8 is for Ultimate modules for everyone else (random drop, pain in the ass to get as it isn't a guaranteed rare).

First thing you want to do is get the modules for Rare Module Up Lv. 4 and New Module Up Lv. 4. For Miku it's Yellow (Special Live 3) and Fluffy Loose Pastel (Special Live 4). Everyone else has it on one of their medley or append type modules.

Rest is pretty easy. Grind Special Lives with New Module. Grind all songs with Rare Module. Each new module is from their respective song, medleys all have some of the older modules (Infinity in Ultimate, Alles d'Ange in Cool, Swimsuit in Cute). For non-rare modules just grind songs with New Module. Best to do this while unlocking crystals.

It's a bit tedious, but just use the chance to practice as those modules don't make the game any easier. Also get ready to play Urotander like 30 times cause it has 12 fucking modules. I have no idea who thought that was a good idea.
