Is it just me or are male sims in ts4 really ugly compared to 2 and 3?

Premade sims and townies are ugly, but fuck them. Those I'm making myself I like better than those from 2 and definitely better than those from unmodded 3. I think it's actually easier to make a good looking sim in 4. Perhaps you just need to get used to CAS.

I've tried making traps in 4, and they just end up looking bad, with 2 the male head could be made androgynous pretty easily, but in 4 the neck is too wide and you can never make the chin angled and narrow enough, and yet they somehow make it easier to create reverse traps.

It takes a lot of time going in and out of close-view to manipulate sliders to make them even look like dudes. Plus, the body mesh default has no rigidity making them look odd, a perfect hourglass with flat muscles.

There are two meshes to remedy that:
- Hellfrozeover male torso
- Lumia loversims' Bod-E

If you're >>136226573 then I'm a little confused, because in my experience it's pretty easy to make androgynous looking guys, harder to make them actually look like men. Not as flexible as with custom sliders in Sims 3 though.

playing world adventures and ive been following quests that have me going back and forth. in china i have to kill dong huo, but i already did that. i think this a repeat quest, yet it came from following the same chain of quests that led me to kill him the first time. now i'm told to kill him again, but i can't since he's already gone. should i just cancel the quest?

I don't think there's much to hold interest. For a lot of people, 3 is a pain in the ass, 2 is missing newer features people got used to, and 4 is a half-ass and technically incomplete game.

It only lasts so long before being exhausted. Lydia-anon introduced My Sims but I don't know if that'll hold either. Plus, other games come out that are probably way more exciting.

There's still a lot of shit I haven't tried in Sims 3. If Sims 3 can run as stable as Sims 4 it'd be a dream.
