Quick report from anon who was using Merge Plugins to get SPERG/Weapon Styles/Ordinator/Combined altogether - it works great. Highly suggest you merge 'em.

Also the new Mature Skins is not a touch on V1, stick with that. It's the best for NPCs imo. Gonna try using the Fair Skin normals as well.

Any experienced nifskope users want to hazard a guess at why my edits are having no effect in-game? All I'm trying to do is remove a mesh, so I'll find the NiTriShape I want to get rid of and "remove branch", which makes it disappear from nifskope, but in the game the piece I deleted is still there. And I did make sure to do it for both the _0 and the _1.

Try removing "Further Darker Dungeons". I believe they both alter imagespaces and you may in fact be overwriting the darkness changes of ELFX hardcore and actually making them lighter.

I've put hundreds of hours into skyrom but never played a mage character. I just never got into using magic, I didn't really like the magic system. I'm going to give it another shot because I've done everything else but unnarmed. I've also never did a modded run through. I'm already planning to put a few mods for visuals and immersion in, but what are some good mods that affect the magic system.

I've already looked at the website in the op a few times, I'm more looking for personal favorites because otherwise I'm just going to pick the ones that sound good and try them one by one.

The hype is justified. It has some great dungeon design, a bunch of cool bosses (some with kickass music) and other custom creatures, the mansion episode which can get legit spooky, lots of items you can get, etc.

I gave up trying to decipher the dialogue and books, but if you can get past that it's fucking great.

I have a 4GB gtx 770, where does that put me on the shit/okay/good scale for ENBs?
I'd like something to make Skyrim look sharper and less dirty in general, but not pristine either.

How's Clarity for overall visual quality? It says for Any computer, so I'm worried that it won't add a whole lot to the visuals even if it won't impact performance much.

Looks better but still off...like the torch isn't lighting enough and there's the blue glow still up ahead, and the brightness is too low but turning it up lights up the walls even though Ambient interior and exterior lighting is zero.

Are there any ENBs or enbseries.ini's I could look at as an example? I just realistic lighting with a dark fantasy edge.

Here's something that might help with the diagnosis. When I open the .nif in Outfit Studio it looks like the original, just like it would appear in the game.

I think it probably is in my case. It gets all janky with any death alternative/defeat stuff and I'm sure all those scripts don't play well with RND and frostfall. I doubt I'll ever be able to get a truly stable game with it but damn the game gets old without constant gangbangs

No problem, now this does add alot to Solitude but dont expect much. Like these arnt custome voiced NPCs, I dont think any of the quest mods were finished but it adds alot of places, people and shit to explore. It even adds a sewer system that is compatible with Skyrim Sewers and Undeath. Its one of my favorite mods, added with Better Docks and Solitude Dock District and it really makes Solitude the capital of Skyrim.

Ultimate Combat or Duel?
I want to play an Action RPG, but I don't want to smack around enemies with improved combat for 10 minutes either, does UC make fights faster as well as more mechanically deep or just more mechanically deep?

I like how Duel apparently makes combat a lot quicker, but it seems like it does so at the expense of retaining basic RPG elements except you're stronger so this kills you in 2 hits instead of 1. Am I wrong in thinking that's what it sounds like?

Never played Morrowind before. Just loaded it up for the first time to see if there are any issues, and it actually doesn't run that great. The framerate dips into the 40s in Seyda Neen depending on which direction I'm looking, and I've not even got any graphics mods installed. it's alright. For one of my characters I cheated and maxed out my feedings because he's supposed to be a legacy character from Morrowind through Oblivion.

Some people don't care for the reflex thing where time slows on power attacks, I turn it off for my new vampire character, but it really does make my elder vamp feel powerful as fuck.

Shit slows down and I unleash a barrage of swings that'd make a animu character blush.

Turning people is kind of a pain in the ass, it's hard to force it without killing people.
Morrowind's Vampire's Embrace remains the greatest. And it made me grind hand 2 hand which I never did

I love the concept but the execution needs work.

Adding an absorption menu was a step in the right direction, but for whatever reason it doesn't absorb weapons, boots, and sometimes other items. You have to equip them and absorb them manually (it will never absorb a favorite item though).

If you stack something like ranged damage on all your gear you will get overpowered and need things to increase enemy hp.

So i've been playing skyrim through having a blast and I just did the college of winterhold quests and noticed something I overlooked before.

When you enter labrynthian and the man that knows the Archmage, Savos Aren, starts calling out to you he initially thinks its you. At first though hes speaking the language of the dragons and complains about having to speak your "gutteral language." Why did he think Savos Aren would understand him? He acknowledges later that you aren't Savos after fighting through a certain amount but I almost wonder, did Savos Aren know dragon language?

...and playing a stealth archer. I have ranged damage / physical damage / critical damage on my gear, and using a bound bow.

I destroy everything. I've set the dragon hp mult. in Ultimate Dragons to the maximum, whatever it is. I think 5x.

What's my best option to increase the challenge? I've already set it to legendary difficulty.

I guess SkyTweak and just crank up the enemy hp? I've started trying to do some 1h/shield combat and sometimes I get one shot and have no idea what did it.

I'm kind of reluctant to install SkyTweak again. The last time I added it, I started a new game and couldn't kill wolves on the regular difficulty. I did next to no damage and they would 2 or 3 shot me, no idea why.

I really like Deadly Dragons myself. It gives Dragons a magic AOE slam attack that sends everything nearby packing. It's really great with an immersive first person mod, since you're sticking in first person as the slam sends you heads over heels and you pick yourself up. Fun as fuck.
