you can suppress enemies with fucking smgs in this game, all you need is more than one guy shooting at the target and it's annoying as fuck when you're about to kill them

lmgs are strong not because of suppression but because they only become more accurate the longer you shoot them so you don't need to burstfire them and lower your dps

To be fair, a caliber isnt the only difference between an AKM and a 74. The recievers are smaller and lighter, the stock is different, the gas block is angled differently. The 100 series is essentially the 74m chambered in different calibers.

So yeah, you can totally have a AK74 chambered in 7.62x39 or 5.56x45. If the gas block and reciever are the same, then yeah, I am just as autsitic about it. Most of the AKMs in this game have 74 style furniture anyway.

Jeez this game is pretty shallow content wise. I'm about 80 hours in; level 30, DZ rank 32, mostly HE gear. DZ is fun and all, but that's about all there is left to do. Repeating story missions with brick wall enemies is not very satisfying. I could go finish all the collecting but it's pretty lame. Could give a fuck less about lesbian voicemails.

I'm 26 years old and I don't know how this season pass and withholding content shit has become the norm. Maybe you young guns see it as okay but I don't. And don't give me "that's what this game is about, minmaxing and farming," cause that's a bunch of shit. Every game that comes out nowadays is a missed opportunity to be something really great but it always ends up being a one dimensional pile of broken promises.

if I remember right balance is more about how fast it zeros in when you aim down sight and stability is how much the weapon kicks when fired. I'm don't think sniper kick all that much anyways.. but again, play around with it in the range or in game.

Can confirm

Balance only affects how long it takes for the crosshair to zero in when you press right click or left trigger or whatever. Having Balance allows you to start taking shots a split second sooner when you pop out of cover, so that's a split second less time when you're talking damage. The difference is also enough that you can pop out of cover, fire at an enemy sniper, and get back into cover before they fire at you.
Accuracy in general is about how long it takes for the crosshair zero back in after each shot, If you use a weapon with high enough accuracy, then the crosshair doesn't expand at all between shots. Balance just gives you increased accuracy in the brief moment that you aim your gun before you start firing.

Unlike accuracy, it doesn't seem like you can "max" stability out. You can reduce the amount that the weapon kicks, but right now it seems that you can't eliminate it, like accuracy does with the crosshair expansion.

Do the yellow enemies in the challenge drop good items? Could it be possible to just farm the entrance of the mission?

That's why I said in retrospect some small set of dev probably dedicate to the expansions instead of working on patches and free DLCs. Call me a retard all you want, but those free DLCs are not just 'fucking alternate appearances', there are mini quests (that leads to new weapon/armor sets) to a new game+ which also needs to be balanced around all the loot in the game (plus free DLCs previously released) and future expansions.

They also do not have a lot of devs, especially compared to Division. Being perfectionist do not exclude them from meeting project deadlines, do they?

But let's not stray from the main point here. Some anon is arguing that DLC is killing game industry, and I agree only if they purposefully cut some features out of the base game content and later put in as a paid addition.
