I tried the whole streaming thing. Not souls games but other stuff. I did it for a bit over a year, got partnered on twitch, was averaging 300+ viewers, and was continuing to grow. I have an absolute ton of experience in the souls series so I'm probably progressing through the game much faster than the press guys are. Boss order is not the order in which you fight the bosses. After you was dropped into the Undead Settlement there are about 3-4 areas that you can explore that eventually loop back.

Pontiff was a pretty decent fight. Mid-way through he'll buff his sword with Darkmoon Blade and his cape (which looks like it's made of crow feathers) starts to decay and the feather particle effects start to follow him around. Imagine a less shit Throne Defender/Fume Knight fight (much... much faster paced).

Bloodborne without heal spamming would be the best by far, but it has heal spamming which makes it genuinely the worst. You can try to parry it but it's almost impossible because of the typical laggy FromSoft multiplayer. When the other guy is a bro and doesn't heal it's easily the best PvP in the series, but when it's some shitter with 20 fucking heals and every intent to use all of them the fight lasts fucking forever and just isn't enjoyable at all.

It seems as if the original Knights of Gwyn have an absolute huge influence in this game as each one has somehow had a cult formed around them, but Artorias in particular.

There are once again 2 versions of Artorias' sword in the game. One is a fake version that the Abysswatchers use, and there is also a real one. I have no clue how to get the real one, but I managed to create the fake one with the Twisted Soul given to me after defeating the Abysswatchers.

Linking the fire is always a temporary solution. That was the entire dichotomy of the choice at the end. Linking the fire temporarily keeps the Age of Fire going, not doing so ushers in the Age of Dark, and whatever that entails. Seems pretty obvious that for the past two games linking the fire has been the canon choice.

Now the fire is seriously at risk of dying and the regular undead are so shitty and burnt out that they can't manage the job anymore. Only the ones who were strong enough to do it before can manage it again.

If you've played Demon's Souls, you'll be at home. There are plenty of paths like Sharp, Refined, Raw, etc. They increase the scaling, not just straight AR upgrades like in Dark Souls I. Also is Deep (Occult), Holy/Divine, Fire, Lightning, and Magic upgrade paths. It's very straight forward.

Boss and unique weapons use the Titanite Scales dropped by the overgrown titanite lizards. There's at least one hidden away in every area that I've seen so far with a stack of 3 being found in a Mimic in one of the areas.

The game is essentially opened right after you kill the Curse-rotted Greatwood. The Knight in Firelink Shrine basically directs you to kill Aldritch first as he seems to the be the easiest to find if you follow the way that the game pushes you to. I just wondered off and ended up in the Wolf Knight area and unknowingly walked into that boss pretty early on. They're no push-over as it took me about a dozen times to finally defeat them.

I meant that the head of the Wyvern looks a lot like Manus attached to the body of a dragon. Otherwise, it's basically a standard Kalameet/Sinh fight with some Manus slams.

Favorite boss? It's a toss up between Abysswatchers and Pontiff Sulyvahn. Abysswatchers brought back so many great memories of Dark Souls I Artorias, but the fight has very unique. The howling of the wolves in the background really add a lot to the fight.

I was thinking. Isn't the whole Hollow thing a metaphor for life? I haven't seen anyone discussing this yet.

I went through an episode last year and played dark souls after it went out. During this time, the only purpose I had, my dreams, crumbled apart, and I did become empty inside. I kind of went insane. Lots of shit happened as a result. Until I regained my purpose. It made me think, how we NEED purpose, dreams, to be happy, and how empty we feel when we don't have them anymore. Like a hollow.

Sometimes even when we achieve something we thought was true happiness, it still isn't enough and we need to pursue something else, or we become empty again. We still need purpose.

What do you guys think? I'm not into looking for meanings into things in my games, but this really struck a chord.

It's been said the herald is the worst class, along with assassin I think? However its a nice class to start as. At least for me.
