500DPS hitscan gun stops the enemy soldier from bombing in on your medic. You have a hitscan weapon which puts out damage comparable to demomen on a class who has 300HP base. Add Sandvich to this and you also have a mobile heal every 30 seconds for your medic, or for allies if the med goes down.
