Just finished both endings(I think that's all?) of Netorare Imouto Misaki, and figured I'd share my thoughts about the game.

>The Good
Art. For the most part CGs and sprites are very good.
Progression. After beginning there's really no reason to grind, or even do events you're not interested in.
Fetishes featured. I'm not that much into NTR, and despite the title moral degeneration was the one most featured, this is helped by Misaki having a diary where she writes her thoughts about scenes each day. There's also plenty of anal, which isn't that common.
>The Bad
Nearly none of the art had proper focus on Misaki's supposedly shapely butt. Which I suppose is fine, since the few pieces that did feature it were pretty poor. This artist can't draw asses.
Progression. After every day you get to play as Misaki's brother a bit, and talk to her about the day. While it's nice to hear how her views change, at certain point having to walk to her each day and select if you want to talk about what happened just becomes slog. This is similar to To-H, but in that you had option of just going fuck it and going straight to bed from work without even talking to your wife.
Brother. Continuing from To-H comparison, as you progressed in that game you sometimes got nights/evenings when protag girl would come home late, or wouldn't come at all. None of that happens here, it's same thing every time, except on scripted days when the boss comes around.
Dialog. While Misuki's reactions inside jobs themselves change, her interactions outside them doesn't even if you reach the point of shamelessness where you can walk around naked.
Only two endings. While all of the jobs seem to reach some kind of finale that'd lead to ending for them, nothing actually happens.

There's no post-game. After 60 or so days you get an ending, and have to start from beginning. Sure, you have 500K yen as bonus, but some of the different jobs only unlock after certain time, or after doing something else.
No replay. There's no scene replay, that sucks ass.

Looking at what I wrote, while there's way more bad points that good ones, I mostly enjoyed this.
I guess one nice to have would've been being able to visit Misuki's jobs as a brother on the days off and see how she'd act differently, again like in To-H.

There's lots of recycled art. That much is expected really and wouldn't be a problem if handled properly, but when Misaki's expression carries over, it's pretty shitty. At the scenes where she's supposedly feeling good and is really into sex, she still has the pained reluctant face from earlier from that event's series. This isn't just the regular thing with artist only drawing miserable sex, the few scenes that start from point where Misaki has already fallen enough(like the AV part) actually show her having fun and enjoying sex.
The miserable sex happens way more often in this, even when it should.

How important do you think prose is for translations? Essentially making lines sound more like natural speech. When I look over translations I often question, "Wouldn't it sound more natural this way?" and then think about how to improve such lines so they sound less like "Japanese to English" and more like "English". That isn't to say that it's "localization" but to break away from more mechanical speech that a lot of lazy translators do. 5am's translations are a good example of prose for me.

I have CM3D2 working on Windows 10 without HF patch, the only thing is it takes about 2 minutes to launch, didn't have this issue on Windows 7 but I also didn't have literally all the available DLC installed when I had it on Win7.

I also copy pasted the folder to an external drive and back again after upgrading Windows instead of resintalling from scratch, so that might have something to do with it idk

I'm using a Su_WHong's LL! mod for CM3D2 which has this folder structure: hair, eye, material, menu, model, texture.
All of them don't have subfolders save for the 'hair' one, which has CharacterName/menu,model,texture folder tree inside of it.
Thing is that everything works except the hairs, and the maid customization freezes when loading a preset. I tried playing around with folder structure, but to no avail. I'm using HF Patch v1.0.125.0 with version 1.26.1 from the Kat torrent. Did I fuck something up?

I get pic related when I try to go to click 'next' after my income summary for the night. I was unaware of this bug before the night events started, and I saved. So basically I'm stuck in this small loop of the game freezing at this point. Does anyone have a workaround? do the new maid events require anything to work besides their update?
