Yep. Tekken is really fun, but has a fairly high skill barrier compared to some other games.

tag 2 is harder than other tekkens, but it'll teach you tekken, that's for sure. it has an active online (on ps3 mainly) with generally helpful players. there are plenty of resources to help guide you as well.

if you don't want to invest money/don't have a ps3, you can just emulate tekken 5 or tekken 6 on a psp emulator. no online, but you can learn the bare bones basics and try out characters at least.

There is no grassroots scene for Halo. If there wasn't an mlg, 343, esl, or whatever they would not have any tournaments. Both, honestly. The thing with Mika is that, if you can anti-air her consistently, she just can't get in at all. Her only other options are to slowly approach or go for a risky charged st.HK drop kick. st.HK is so easily punishable, but a lot of online players just block it and let her get in for free.

If Mika actually does get in, she really is brain dead because it is literally a guessing game after that. If you guess wrong, you're sent back into the vortex. Even the Mika player doesn't know what's going to work and won't work. Her character just needs a redesign.

I'll agree to disagree. I think playstyles are still present in SFV, but like SF4 combos are seen hundreds of times by the players because optimal combos are optimal combos. Individuality through combos in SF is just not there.
