I just started to play this game and this is my frist siege ever but I can't do it because there is only 1 fucking ladder so 100 people trying to climb it is like commiting sudoku. Even if they climb till the end of it there is 30+ people waiting in one spot and insta killing my men. They can't even get in to the castle. It's very frustrating.
So is there any way to raise a 2nd ladder or a siege tower?

I have almost 60 or something hours on NW bot survival servers so this is a natural fit for me, what I really like though is how you can get crazy combinations of factions and maps

I think the basic formations in that OP modded Diplomacy work well for regular Warband, no hiccups, flows well. All the other I tried try too hard, Floris etc.

if the formations mod doesn't really change the AI and just adds bloat it isn't really worth having, so it's better to have the native formations since the AI hasn't changed and you're adding unnecessary strain to the game while the end result isn't any different (ex viking conquest)

it uses a different animation slot that uses the thrust value for damage instead of swinging
which means instead of only stabbing in one direction, you can stab in two, and you could still have sideswings on that weapon that do a different damage type
there's also the one handed one which alleviates the issue for spear and shield since you can now stab in two directions
it also means you can stab over other troops in a tight formation, which makes it pretty good on pikes during sieges since its possible to stab over your troops and hit the enemy while being out of range of their attacks

It feels like getting started in Floris is much, much harder than in Vanilla. To be entirely honest the only reason I even bother with Floris is because it has the Forage skill (when you get 100+ men in your army constantly buying food makes the game feel like a chore).
How do I get started in Floris? I already have positive income and an army of about 70 guys (Swadian, low level infantry and archers with some cav. The plan is all cav + archers).

Met with some troubles when trying to move armours from one mod to another.
I copied everything from the textures and resources directories as well as meshes.txt and item_kinds1.txt from the AoE mod into the new mod. While AoE items now appear in morgh's they don't appear in the game. The units are just floating heads and legs now.

instead just open the module.ini, go down to where all the load_resource = lines are, and hit enter between any of them, then type load_mod_resource = brfname

it was my own modified version of tocan's that i made, it adds a fuckload of weapons that use the native artstyle while still adding a load of variety
i rebalanced them too to make each weapon feel more unique, as well as adding stuff like halfswording or mordhau (webm related)
i changed a lot of troop trees so each faction had more troops, stuff like spearmen or skirmishers

The compiler can't figure out by magic which line you made a mistake on. If you left out a closing bracket, it doesn't know you were finished with that tuple, it just thinks that all the stuff on all the following lines are more elements of that tuple. It's only when it reaches the end of the script and still has one less closing bracket than it should have that it can say hold up, there's a problem here. Review the changes you made. The fuckup is yours, not the original dev's.

Why the fuck don't more games include this feature, instead of forcing you to randomize everything if you click randomize, this method will let you get more unique looking characters because sometimes people only want to focus on mouth or hair and dont care for eyes or nose so now you can randomize both, have a more unique looking character after finding the result you want and on your way
