Memeing aside, you're right. Tanks' disadvantages should be modeled somehow. Not in a way that would make them break down completely though. Tanks that had shitty reliability could take longer to repair, tanks with tiny crew compartments could take longer to switch crew members, etc.

The landing craft respawn infinitely in waves. It's an opportunity for free RP provided you avoid the AA of the cruisers and island.

Not that it's not cancerous behaviour, it is of course, but on Norway if you still hold A and the last guy on the enemy team is nowhere to be seen you should really just be glad you can take the opportunity to groundpound targets that respawn. There's no need to get that frustrated by it.

I've tried scissors, rolls, climbing, loops to try and get enemies off my tail but it doesn't seem to change anything; they remain glued on my six, seemingly sedately following and whittling my plane down to a stub with their guns.

I mean, I'm guessing it is possible for a BF109 to shake a P40, right? It is just me being shit and not the plane, isn't it.
