I just got back into Halo 5 multiplayer.
I wanted to finish up all the Halo 5 and MCC achievements.

Honestly anon I appreciate it and all but the last thing I want to do is turn my Halo time into drama time. At this point in my life any time I put into Halo is pretty valuable and the last thing I want to do is make it a circus.
Yes, I have every Halo achievement for every Halo game (that counts towards the Halo milestone total on waypoint at least as well as Halo 2 Vista, but I'm not going to buy Spartan Assault a 5th fucking time just so I can get the achievements AGAIN on iOS) so I do stay committed to a cause until it's done but I also know how annoying it can be to have some people half assing the effort. I will be out of town as well until after Easter so I feel like if I joined now I'd be the kind of leech I already can't stand.
Plus, despite owning Guardians since launch, I haven't played all that much of it. It's mostly been MCC customs and achievement hunting as well as a lot of Reach. I'm only now really getting back into Guardians multiplayer so until my stats start to improve I doubt I'd be accepted into /hg/ anyway.
Maybe when I get back into town, if /hg/ still needs help, I'll just grind prometheans or help others with cheevos or whatever the team requests so I can get a spot, but until then I probably am better off waiting it out.

Don't bother spending your money on req packs. Whether you grind out hours saving points or buying these packs with your hard earned cash. It doesn't matter!! They are robbing everybody blind. Giving that false hope you may get something worth it when it's no better than a silver or bronze. Those arena reqs were garbage. And 343 ignores reports of glitches and legendary armor NOT being unlocked from doing achievements in the Master Chief Collection. So guess what I've been grinding out to when I'm free? THE DIVISION. Think I speak for all of us loyal fans being ignored. We are the people that keep this franchise alive. Eventually 343 will realize maybe you should take these forums more seriously. Because there are quite a few games out there that are much more enjoyable and rewarding for putting my valuable time into!!

The REQ system in Halo 5 made armor unlocks largely meaningless; everything's randomized, whereas in 3/Reach/4 you had goals to work toward and had to actually -earn- that cool piece of armor you wanted.
