just keep in mind that when you start to advance though the main story quests previous side and notice board quests will get cancelled.

Also set your pawn inclinations properly they are more important than stats. You can also change them with elixirs.

I agree, warrior and fighter have both been insane amounts of fun.
Eliminators being my complete favorite to push around as warrior.

The only thing that's sucked has been coming to Daimon 1.0 and realizing I can't do much against him ,even with perries damage feels low.

I've already wrecked daimon 1.0 and 2.0 as all ranged classes, and did it relatively easy, so it just feels bad in comparison to realize how weak red vocs are, especially since they've been the most fun to play up until this point.

What exactly does Beatitude do? If I equip it on my Mage pawn, does it increase the duration of the Anodyne sigil? Or does it just increase the HoT duration after leaving the sigil? Or does it just apply to the character with it equipped, and not to the rest of the party? Wiki is unhelpful, it provides no details.

Basically, is this shit worth it on a support Mage?

Awesome then. I just got her an Adept's hat that increases sigil duration, timed it and Grand Anodyne lasts for 20+s with it on. That seems pretty decent to me if she manages to get a cast off, though I'm not sure yet if/how it stacks with Beatitude.

Hey all, I've done a completionist character for fun, and now I want to wreck some shit, full autism mode.

I was thinking of having my pawn be a really aggressive fighter, with a decent balance between damage and defense.

And I wanted to make my arisen a real glasscannon assassin that relies on dodging and maneuvering for survivability over defense.

How should I level my arisen and pawn to end up with a somewhat decent result where I can start going through bbi at around level 70-80?

I'm not interested in minmaxing much past level 80, so I'd prefer to do other vocations before that - so I can then delve into bbi ready to gear up.

If you want to make your arisen a glass canon, the best way to go would be playing Assassin to the desired level. Assassins have the highest strength gain.

Guys what's happening? I can find peoples pawns that are lower level than me, but at max level it's just showing me stock pawns. Help

So I really wanna do something about the pawn list, like delete a lot of the pawns, and clean it up and stuff. I want the /ddg/ opinion and consent of doing it, since it is a complete mess and there has been multiple arguements about the list, like making a new one, or just cleaning up this one.

Both. Sinew adds 20kg to the Very Light encumbrance, which can drop your encumbrance lower. Leg-Strength treats your movement speed and dashing stamina cost as if you were one encumbrance rank lower, including reaching Ultra Light values when you're in the Very Light encumbrance. Leg-Strength is worse than Sinew in all cases except when LL and at Light or Average weight, or if you wanted to reach the Ultra Light encumbrance, which isn't terribly significant.

They both make you go faster.
Leg strength gives access to 'ultra-light', which decreases stamina consumption by a lot. It also makes you move faster when you're heavily or over-encumbered.
Sinew increases your max carry weight & shifts the encumbrance threshold for each up by 20, which gives it ~5% edge over leg-strength for global stamina consumption at any encumbrance level over 'very light'.

So sinew makes it easier to stay in 'very light', increases movement speed, decreases stamina consumption, and increases max carry cap. It's best for small characters who have a hard time staying 'very light', or those that want the extra max capacity over the extra speed at max capacity (again, small characters).

Leg strength gives you a little boost if you find it easy to stay 'very light' (large or x-large characters who have a 'very light' threshold at a whopping 20lbs, rather than midget's 10-ish, will benefit most easily from this), increases your movement speed & increases your minimum movement speed at heavy encumbrance (large characters might prefer this, since they're already able to carry 75-100 pounds of equipment).

It's personal preference really, they're pretty well-balanced.

There is not an ounce of red in the colors I've chosen, that's part of the drow skintone, and I was using the makeup to try to cover it up. It's even worse without the dark makeup.

Seriously I think someone should do a mod, drow aren't red toned, they're greyscale.

It's Thursday, and do you know what that means? It's early BBI pawn review day!

Some differences with this run from the last run: BBI was on normal mode due to me finishing my hard mode run yesterday and me not wanting to see how BBI was on normal mode again. As such, the pawns I brought along were able to consistently stagger/knock down big enemies like Eliminators. However, this also meant that enemies were much easier to deal with, which may have cut down on the number of opportunities I had to take good screenshots or see how the pawns dealt with hordes of tougher enemies. But all in all, the run went pretty smoothly despite Death appearing like 3 times during the run while fighting off other monster spawns. But enough about that, onto the pawns.

Today's featured pawns: Pirotese the Sorcerer, and Nephilim the Warrior

BBI Pawn Review: Pirotese, the Sorcerer.

Though I don't normally hire many pawns who are filled to the gills with Grand Spells due to their long casting times and bad habit of jump-canceling a lot of spells, Pirotese may have changed my opinion on those types of sorcs. Though probably intended to sync-cast with Sorcerer Arisens or other Sorcerer pawns, Pirotese was pretty good about getting her spells off before enemies got too close or before they died too quickly to make a difference. However, her long casting times did mean that she had some problems dealing with Phantoms; I had to rely mainly on running into them and letting pawns hit me to progress quickly. But if she was left alone or had other pawns to distract enemies for her, then she'd explode or electrocute enemies in short order. Pic related: her getting into a sorcerer-off with Sweet Pope. Spoiler: He died very quickly to falling meteors knocking him to the ground .

Overall, Pirotese is a very solid sorcerer pawn who I'd probably appreciate more if my Arisen weren't an unedumacated yellow/red hybrid class who wasted gold while skipping general requirement magic classes at Gransys University while focusing on a climbing major instead. Has lots of big magicks packed into her comparatively tiny brown elfy frame. Would gladly distract enemies so she can let loose the destructive magicks of the cosmos again.

BBI Pawn Review: Nephilim, the Warrior
Many times have I seen this pear-shaped elf been posted in this thread. However, this is the first time I've had her in my group proper. Though her physical shape is still vaguely that of a certain piece of fruit, the only things that went pear-shaped were the enemies on the business end of her big sword. She pretty much threw herself into every enemy encounter with equal parts zeal and equal parts lack of regard for her own personal safety. Either she'd be throwing enemies around with her big fuck-off sized sword, or she'd be thrown around by enemies during their counterattack. Most of the time, both things happened. But either way, this afforded opportunities for Pirotese to work her magic, and for Trepira (my main pawn) and myself to attack without hesitation.

But the thing that stuck out the most about Nephilim was her cuteness . Her voice, which was about three sizes too small for an elf that big, combined with her enthusiastic dedication to wading into melee combat even after being flung around by Eliminators or Living Armor cultivated an endearing persona. There were also moments like pic related, which made me break out into a goofy grin. Though not the staunchest melee pawn I've brought along into BBI, she was by far one of the more memorable ones.

To her Arisen: I'd consider equipping her with Ogre Bones so she won't get knocked back as much. Or maybe not. Maybe you purposefully made her that way so that she'd score cuteness points with potential renters. In which case, congratulations on a job well done.
