Something I found, which may or may not be of interest, is that if you completely shove in each lane to the enemy core, then go full range build on Hammer, ping all four team mates to follow you, you're able to just AFK at your core and keep the game going as long as possible.

I had a game lasting almost two hours before the bots got too greedy, wiped, and catapults pushed into the core.

there are 2 frames between when the blast starts to go off and the damage is actually dealt
(it's one big aoe that radiates out from the center)

so when the explosion starts to go off, 1) it sets the 'center', where you'll take full damage, and 2) it marks the area around it as "this place will receive lower aoe damage"

If you want to accuse them of "stealing", then say they copied Scorpion in MK, say they copied Link with his hookshot, say they copied the girl from Umihara Kawase, say they copied fishing in general - a thing that has been around for over 100,000 years.

If you have map awareness as an Abathur (and you should) you can go out in lane and body soak. See Cursed Hollow games for the best example of this. Abathur isn't half as effective if you just sit in base the entire game, he can be played better than that.

So I'm working on character mega lists for each of the franchises, to put together all the names and ideas floating around. This is the Warcraft list so far, and I was hoping I could get some feed back. Characters to add, visual recommendions, ect.

I plan to add a franchise logo, and I want to be clear I dont expect, nor want ALL of these characters in the game. Its suppose to just be a collection of possible characters. Baring OCs based on the units from Warcraft, like Brightwing, and Lunara.

After I feel like the Warcraft list is about as good as its gonna get, I'll move on to the next, and maybe add them all together in a mega picture? I don't know.

The new scaling system broke the map. It made the boss way too strong early game, and on average the map was too much of a steamroll with like 80% of matches ending in the first 10 minutes. Blizzard thinks that battlefield and shrines are better versions of that map, so instead of fixing it they scrapped it for good.

When are they buffing kerrigan? They've spent like 4 patches trying to buff nova after her failed rework, meanwhile kerrigan has been unplayable since the scaling changes.

Practice makes perfect. Learn the heroes in and out. Learn the strengths and weakness of each characyer, each build, the power of certain talents against certain comps or heroes or maps. Learn when to get camps or objectives and when to ignore them. Learn when to be where on what map, and where not to be.

All of it comes with time, a lot of trial and error,and a lot of losses. Just keep playing, don't get discouraged when your win rate is shit, and you'll be fine. Also try to avoid placement matches in HL until your quick match MMR is like above 2.5k-3k or you will be buried in the low to mid 30s forever.

Then in QM if your team doesn't get the li-ming she is the only one in the game that can snowball a team fight so if their team gets the first kill you lose, even if they are losing the team fight and get a kill you lose. Nova just one shot squishies and was useless for a while if you killed her when she lost her stacks.

Just wish you could ban one character to queue against in qm, then all the li-mings can play each other.

Yeah especially in solo queue because you can push so well with it, do good damage to objective bosses and still do great damage. The attack speed at 16 + the damage at 7 melts people, it's pretty hilarious seeing her attack speed with the moralas buff, but I find I don't get to just stand there and auto people a lot and usually end up poking more, and the siege just does so much work.

I think Blizzard has proven that they're more interested in translating visually iconic figures from Warcraft rather than specific lore figures.

For instance, if Blizzard decides they want Hemet Hesingwary in the game, it's because they want to build off the iconic Dwarven Rifleman unit from Warcraft 3 and need a specific face to attach to that fantasy.

Red was deconfirmed, originally what I was using for characters that became skins and stuff.

It ended up looking really messy, and colorful, not to mention it was based way too much on my own opinions. I feel like a straight up in or not list looks better and gives people a change to look at it their own way. Though if you wanna suggest something besides the purple I'm not exactly keen on it. I want to eventually make them like the metal blue boarders like on the free week selection.
