I had the third hoch loadout in the same camo. I'm trashing the left and right ones soon too.

Sawbonez in practice is great for attack and defense because his packs full heal, he has decent guns and decent health. He's also the best pocket med of the bigger mercs. He's really good, especially for 30k. Definitely the most flexible medic.

In pubs games especially he has some weaknesses that aren't really his problem, but more about playing in pubs. People dodge your packs or just flat out ignore them. Pub games rarely have someone worth pocketing. His self healing is rather slow.

Phoenix shines in pub games because of his speed, his guns, heals that your teammates can't dodge, instant self heal at the same time as healing others, enemies can't pick up your heals and because you can pick yourself up. He's weaker at healing overall, and he only has 100 HP so Fletcher one shots you, but he's slightly better at combat than Sawbonez and more self-reliant, which is what you want in pub games.

Fragger, Red Eye, Phantom.

Fragger is the most selfish 'carry'. Anyone who plays Fragger is always a massive faggot. They whine about health and ammo constantly on top of already whining that the engineer or medic isn't doing enough. Basically they come up and act like "I'll do all the killing and you do everything else". But lets be honest, they rarely do their end of the bargain. You'll see these players occasionally try another merc, but once they die they quickly go back to Fragger because they don't know how to play anyone else other than an easy mode meat tank.

Red Eye is entirely self serving. They toss smoke for themselves, and sit back getting useless kills. Fragger players are the type of player to play Red Eye when they're too bored of killing low levels as Fragger. If they aren't retarded, that means they are massive faggots.

Phantom is "lol I want to do whatever I want". High level Phantoms and low level Phantoms play a lot a like. Like fucking idiots who want to hit things with their sword. The high levels know better, just use their gun, but they don't because that's 'boring'. At best they may get a lot of kills, but in the end they never matter just like Red Eye players.

IIRC you get 100xp for arming a charge, maybe 200 on a main objective. You get ~200-300 game mode from calling one arty on the EV.
You shouldn't include long defense bonuses in the calculation because you get them on every map, only bolstering the advantage of EV maps. You'd get the same amount of long defender XP from playing a full match on Trainyard as a full match on Chapel, so defenders are at a distinct disadvantage there.

Both sides of Chapel are more profitable (game mode XP) than either side of terminal.

For example: You are assigned defender on both Chapel and Terminal, Say the matches are both 15 minutes, excluding any actions the player makes, both maps will yield the same amount of game mode XP (1500).
The Terminal defender will need to rely on guard (10xp and completely negligible), defuse xp (200 and institutional at best), while the Chapel defender gets to disable the EV for 500 points every few seconds.

Now on to attack, using the same maps attackers on terminal only have the potential to earn (assuming you get EVERY PLANT unlikely and you know it) ~4000 game mode XP. Chapel attackers, on the other hand can milk the EV for 500 guaranteed game mode XP every time it is disabled (5-10 times a game) as well as a steady supply of 200 for just pushing it.
