I think I finally realized why there's no real "pro-gaming scene" in fighting games (anime fighters included). I mean, like getting paid 6 figures for playing fighting games type of job.

Because, even a game like BlazBlue (which I was told is super easy and for babbies), makes all the popular, millions paying "e-sport" games (CS:GO, Dota 2) look like pathetic shit for braindeads in comparison.

Actually in all the routes available in BBCT, BBCS, and BBCP, even Alter Memory, no one has been able to escape being absorbed by Arakune without some form of intervention. Once he engulfs or ensnares them, they are fucked. Ragna even commented that he couldn't feel any strength when he was dragged into Arakune as the sludge covered him if he loses to him in his BBCT route. I'm pretty sure he starts siphoning your energy as soon as he sucks you in.

Ragna also says:

Yeah, I remember that. Arakune tries to go "AZURURERURUE" Noel goes "KYAAAA B-BUGGSSS!" and just shoots the hell out of him until he stops moving, then shoots him several more times just to be sure, then throws him in the garbage.

Even after all of that, Arakune still isn't dead but Noel's happy he's not her problem anymore.

I guess its because in Calamity Trigger Arakune was weak as hell while in Continuum Shift he got stronger and in Chronophantasma he got outfitted with an idea engine. I remember when Ragna lost to him he'd just come from fighting Hakumen so he couldn't really handle Arakune at that moment. "Tch, if I wasn't so beat to shit, I'd never!"

Actually, it wasn't because they were resisting him (that was Arakune's first guess.) It was because their being devoured by him was a phenomena Noel rejected. Izanami tells him that he needs to kill her first if he wants to accomplish his goals. Noel also rejected the phenomena of the Phoenix Rettenjou Nu absorbed from Bang in her arcade route as well. She lost it during her battle with Izanami. So it is the same deal with her, if she wants to fuse with all the Nox and merge with Ragna, Noel has to die first.

However in BBCS when he consumes her, the only thing stopping her from being completely absorbed (and potentially transforming Arakune into a Black Beast) was Hakumen ripping her out. She was already quickly losing consciousness inside of him. And when he attempted to absorb her again in BBCP, there was nothing she could once her began to envelop her

You're going to want to practice those microdashes until it's second nature to you. Jin relies pretty heavily on them.

The hard parts are knowing when you can dash forward, and then moving the stick/pad back to neutral when you've run far enough.

For the former, one trick I loved to employ in practice is barrier guard. So, for challenge 4 you had to do 5D, 22C, microdash into 5B, right? After you input the 22C just hold back and barrier block while the animation plays out. When you see the green shield, you know exactly when you can move/input an action again. This is universal for any character and can be a handy training tool. You'll probably want to use it when you work on the CH 623C combos.

As for the resetting to neutral, that just takes practice. Jin has it a bit easier though, because of 5B's vacuum effect.
