I mean, the facepaint really isn't the main issue. It's just how it clashes with your eyes that looks eh. I do think you'd look better without it but whatever floats your boat really, but I do really think you should remove the highlights and make the lipstick just a slightly less in-your-face color. Just make it more subtle.
