The trial Catapult has dual ALRM15 and dual ASRM6. It's slow and mounts an XL, and hence fails at living, and that thing resembles it strongly, only without silly things like using Artemis.

Not using Artemis is silly here, and he'd have done better just going 4x5 if he didn't want it.

The HARDEST part of playing a light mech, 90% of your work, is fighting the netcode and terrain to keep your mech moving. Light mechs are 90% movement and 10% shooting in terms of skill, which is a far cry from a heavy or assault where it's all about being positioned right and aiming properly.

This is my build. Sometimes it does very average, sometimes it brings home 1000+, but overall it works a lot better than my other shitpiles while remaining fun. Got me my highest match (1270+) of all time. Unfortunately I rarely remember to save screenshots whenever it happens. I attribute it partially to lucky solo queue stupidity and people just not understanding how to fight an XL Classic Marauder, it's like it blows their minds so much they waste all their shots at my legs.

1M is a missile variant (so not that great, 2 launchers), 3M is an AMS variant (which will eat up almost all of your offensive tonnage, outclassed by the 1E for energy), 3S is an upgunned missile variant but you're still not doing a lot of missiles for 20 tons. 3V is an "upgunned" 1V but it doesn't have quirks to make 2MPL better than 1LPL on the 1V. Pirate's Bane is nice in my opinion since it has ECM, but it's real money so definitely not until you know you love the Locust and say "I wish I could trade some firepower to be invisible"
1E is really your best all-rounder, 6ML or 5ML with better heat management.

3m has much better energy qwueriks though. 4spl is enough to be relevant with them. Dual ams with modules is pretty dank, and at 20 tons it's probably one of the only builds I'd recommend AMS on to be actually helpful because of your mobility.

I think it might actually be viable in the most retarded of ways. 75 ton heavy with full armor, 83.6kph with Speed Tweak, 22 Alpha but 5.38 sustained DPS with a shitload of impulse from the triple AC/2 chaingun. If you got behind someone with this build you'd seriously ruin their day.

The 3M is the PPC variant or small pulse laser brawler, it has the highest general energy cooldown quirk with arm mounts. The problem with brawling is that a Locust is not made for it and will fare badly in any other situation than backstabbing distracted mechs; that's why the 1E is so strong (tis a poking Light). The same parts used to build an LPL 1V can be reused in a 3M for a PPC or an ERPPC.

Now, you've got specific monitors and I'm only willing to research general information for you, but here's the deal:
Asus manufactures their own displays, down to the panels and everything.
Acer uses panels from other manufacturers, which some googling tells me is generally Samsung.
The meme response of course, is to buy more Samsung products, so you should get the Acer monitor. If you're competent however, you'll dig more into those panels because Asus has some proprietary tech that gives them faster response times, or at least they did when I was buying a monitor a few years ago.

If you adore the Phoenix Hawk go for it, it looks a little lackluster but it will maybe probably get some great quirks and a couple of them are gonna be good robots (the energy boat variants).

The Kodiak is the best grabdeal they have available right now for sure if you're into it.

Any of the old packages, like Clan Waves or Resistance 1/2 are a good deal too, especially the medium wave, if you like the mechs. Those will give you colors and camo schemes which the new one-off packages don't do.

I'd also probably buy a little bit of MC with it to buy colors you might like (black and white for instance), or mechbays.
