I've got a soft spot for Mr. Fuga's wild ride - I really liked the flavor of the chapter and it was a huge wide open map with lots of cool groups of enemies. I felt like the wind gimmick was well executed too, allowing you to dictate when the wind streams trigger.

I'm actually dead serious, I'm not sure if I just got lucky with my unit placement or if it's not really as bad as some people make it out to be but even on Lunatic I never had to restart because of the reinforcements.

The one big negative for me was the game does a fucking horrible job explaining the exact mechanics of the wind, basically requiring a bit of experimentation before you fully understand it.

line up most of your units around the DV area(not too close). Lead your turn with the pot breaking and kill all the weakened archers(obviously you can wait another turn to kill the frozen ones). Then make a three tile wall to stop the myrms from the top and take them out. Ryoma is now all alone, feel free to debuff the shit out of him and give corrin the kill.

also the first pot is a permanent +4 DEF for the map. get all your combat units in range of it.

Adding to this, there are two pots lined up vertically near the top-right of the first wide-open area. The bottom one is a heal, the top one is another stat boost; I think it's +2 Str/+2 Def or something, and it stacks with the +4 Def. I like to crowd everyone around it and have it broken by the end of turn 3.

If I had to pick one, I'd either go with Mr. Fuga's wild ride as well, or the cherry blossom forest.

Mr. Fuga's wild ride is fun, even if it's a little frustrating. I think it's THE map that truly tests your positioning because your units are blown all over the place, and should someone end up too far for your liking, you have to think on the spot how to get them out of there. Silas came pretty close to death recently because of this, but I was able to quickly move him back close to a few other units, including an Azura refreshed Felicia to heal Silas back up. I also really like the music, giving way for a fairly tense atmosphere and feel for what's to come, like you're braving some unknown lands and you're facing some truly great trials.

The cherry blossom forest was madness. In one simple move, Hinoka changed the rules of the map and left you completely wide open on all sides, with fliers swarming you from all around. It was a race against her to get to the DVs first while also keeping everyone close enough and taking out any fliers that dared get close. And should you fail, Hinoka will be right there to hit the DV and have a flier murder one of your more fragile units. The atmosphere and aesthetics are wonderful too, like, the cherry blossoms just look great and the music was basically the "Congregation of Ambition" track of the game.

I had the same experience with that map on Lunatic. I literally grabbed the treasure then killed Ryouma with my last two actions on the very last turn. The time limit is super strict on that chapter and they throw a big curveball at you with the hordes of archer reinforcements.

The Ballista isn't that bad.
Also, you can line up your group on the bottom row of the bridge and they still won't move to attack you. That should get you close enough to kill most or all of them, and Freeze the remains.

I didn't even bother to fight those guys, if you have enough fliers you can just ferry everyone over to the right, starting with Xander to clear out the ballistae and make it safe for the others to join up with the group. It is indeed a bitch but a Xander, Effie and Keaton paired up with their bitches can at least tank the hits so the enemy doesn't have a chance to continue attacking and once the player phase hits, focus on killing everyone. To do this, you should also have almost all of your units behind the wall. I loved this chapter personally and it's easy to do if you just tank with Xander while taking everything slow.

I own several kimonos, which I wear around the Nohrian castle. I want to get used to wearing them before I move to Hoshido, so I can fit in easier. I bow to my elders and seniors and speak Hoshido as often as I can, but rarely does anyone manage to respond.
