Anon from that exactly picture here. If you're interested in getting these for yourself, I'll share how I bought them. For obvious reason that some Japan websites don't do international shipping, I had to use proxy, which in my case was http://zenmarket.jp/
The service fee wasn't so bad including the 3% paypal transfer fee, and shipping price was reasonable. They also keep you updated for each progress.

As for finding the products themselves, I googled around "ランス タペストリー" (Rance Tapestries) for a while to find Suruga-ya where they had the cheapest prices for the wallscrolls that I wanted. Keep in mind though, shipping for Suruga-ya takes a while because it's like a reseller of used products- the owner ships to suruga-ya, then suruga-ya ships to the new purchaser etc. Took 1.5 weeks for Suruga-ya products to get to my proxy service. The tai endings acts like an adjective, but it is a modification to verbs.

The three groups his meant is likely the group of verbs that have a fixed part and then just add an specific thing for every form, like the tabe in taberu, which goes to tabero, tabenai, etc. Then another group that it has a consonant that keeps being the same but the vowel changes depending on the form like hairu, hairimasu, hairanai, etc. And third group is of the exceptions.

Just a final round up of my thoughts on Evenicle;

The game was pretty good. Had mostly good characters, a lot of whom were interesting, and I cared about.

The story was pretty decent (and I'll openly admit I may have missed things), fairly average stuff with some neat twists (especially the ending).

The world was fun to explore, and finding collectables, hidden items, and skills was a good time, I thoroughly enjoyed it.

The battle system was excellent, and with more polish, and a few more mechanics, would be one of the best. Most bosses were too easy, however - aside from a few exceptions, I had more difficulty dealing with the swarms of mooks you encounter. On that note, the encounter rate is a bit wonky.

The game was relatively challenging, but not overly so for a beginner to the language like myself to read - and I could legitimately feel myself improving as I played through the game. I hope the Rance games aren't a huge difficulty spike.

Don't regret the 120 or so hours I've put into the game, and it was a fantastic learning experience. I'm going to play the Rance version and then hop into 01.

Overall, I'd give the game an 8/10 or so. Really good game, solid. Would recommend.

He is. What I really like about those characters is that they're not outright evil. I mean, they are, yes. Horrible, atrocious creatures that feed on misery and terror. But only because we know that. Imagine looking at this picture for the first time, knowing nothing about the characters. Sure, that woman has a giant penis-snake and claw-hands, but they don't actually look that evil. Design is fairly neutral, colors are soft and bright. And they're interacting, they're acting as good friens. They look like nice people. And that's great.

In that case you should try starting with 01. Though bare in mind that Sengoku is a much better game.

01 only loosely resembles Rance I. The basic plot is the same but is massively extended on.

Alternatively if you want to see the best Rance has to offer tgo for Sengoku first. It's nice to have played the previous games for the recurring characters and some nice references you catch but it's not necessary for Sengoku.

So either Rance 01 first or Sengoku first and then Rance 01

Remakes have decent gameplay. Nothing to write home about, but it's relatively unintrusive and you can enjoy the story just fine without having to grind a lot for the story stuff.
02 and IV are going to be a bit tougher due not having aged well, but they're short; I played through both 01 and 02 in a single day. 5D is RNG the game which also may make it unpleasant, but it's also a two-hour read.
Depending on your love of JRPGs, VI can be either your the best thing ever or your worst nightmare for the same reason you might not like Quest: both involve a lot of grind and Quest's system is just clumsier version of VI.
Both Sengoku and Kichikuou are considered good, but if you don't care about the strategy gameplay you'll have a bad time.
