Found a really good High End AUG yesterday that I've been getting some mods for, 12.5% more dmg if I'm within 10m and 23.5% more headshot dmg, also have a 99% mag size and 40% crit on it

You can play it Solo, I did all the singleplayer stuff solo and I've been doing some end game grinding solo, but for the missions you can use the ingame matchmaking to find groups reall,y really quickly.

Late game seems to be all about Darkzone. There's no raid equivalent yet, but they're coming in a free update soon-ish. You can replay every main mission on hard and some on Challenging, which is even more difficult. PvP doesn't really exist in a traditional sense of like TDM, there's an area of the map where you can kill other players but you don't need to. Its somewhat similar to DayZ or something, where you can kill people but aren't required to.

Right now you can rerun all the 16 or so main missions for on Hard difficulty (They're kinda like dungeons in an MMO) for better loot.

4 of the Missions have a Challenge mode setting that is super fucking hard and is balanced to 4 players in full endgame gear pretty much.

The Dark zone is the primary endgame, it's a big zone with lots of hard mobs that drop good shit but there are also other players and FFA pvp where you can steal loot from eachother.

They're adding more challenge modes in a later update and there is also a 8 player raid incoming, we don't know much more than that atm

can someone please explain what "raids" will be?

The Darkzone has a Day Z feel to it, without all the creeping, from what I experienced only turboshitters will openly attack you if they see you, real pros will kill you when you're about to back your bags and extract your shit

Was Keener justified going this crazy and opposite his original position? He was shafted time and time again by the JTF and Division HQ. Wave 1 thought they were close to ending the DZ, they didn't want to pull out, only when they were left behind by Division HQ and the JTF did they start going Rogue. Keener tried to save as many civilians and Agents as possible, but was ultimately left behind after he evaced from the DZ, everyone he saved was killed by the Rikers because the JTF and Division HQ said the area he was in was too hot to extract from. Now he's the main antagonist and has the virus, all the research, and one of the only scientists that could create another virus.

Was he justified in going that mad?

Without their flashlight, you wouldn't be able to immediately tell there's a sniper in the distance ready to fire. It's a necessary visual cue.

It should take you less than 30 seconds to figure out where their head is positioned relative to the flashlight -- it's not like it's in a random area every time they're aiming.

I'm feeling kinda lost, hit 30 yesterday, grinded some DZ with my buddy, especially at the level 32 DZ6.
We got some good stuff, we're still VASTLY undergeared compared to a lot of the people I've seen.

Any tips for gearing up faster? Keep farming DZ6? Any decent PvE missions worth grinding?
Also, is there anything I can do for gear by myself, while my buddy isn't around? DZ is kind of painful to solo.

Im still in bracket 1-14 and I see people sporadically. Occasionally solo ops are running around and I always lend a hand when I can but I usually see groups of 3-4

At lvl 14 and I've only had two rogue encounters. People seem to have really changed their habits in the darkzone now that they really want to keep their gear. So far I've seen extracts treated as first come first serve, and people seem much more willing to jump into fights with npcs for their chance to skim xp and drops out of it.

Electronics seems kind of useless for anything other than heals, given the cooldown on sticky/seeker.

Is there one particularly effective loadout if my gear isn't great? I'm running Smart Cover + First Aid, seems to work fairly decently for DZ soloing.

I use Smart Cover that heals and gives damage boost/reduction and the flashbang seeker. The seeker also serves as a poor man pulse, because you can have one out constantly (as soon as it dies you can throw another out, at least with my skill build) and it will go and get enemies and flash them giving you the jump.

You are so fucking retarded. The Dark Zone isn't end game content. There isn't any actual end game content right now besides Challenge modes and the point of those Challenge modes is to get gear for the raid.

To people not understand they gave a month to gear for the raid as they tweak it? It's better than trying to find actual people that aren't fucking terrible / have dog shit the week it launches. Everyday the number of people ready for the raid goes up.

Plus the way crafting works, you can craft the same item a million times so you can try and get the exact stats you want. Which requires parts, which requires gear, which requires you to do Dark Zone shit (Best way to get parts, I don't need any of the gear I get unless it's high end, but 30 pieces an hour = a lot of mats).

My end game is going to be crafting the best gear with the best stats so I know when April comes, I'm going to be the best.

Probably still get fucked by the LMB shotgun guys, holy fuck.
