Pretty sure each one independently keeps track of the damage you've taken since it last procced, so they'll alternate for a while and every once in a while the 1003-damage ability will fire twice in a row. But there is no "simultaneous" in Path of Exile (or in any computer program). Trigger gems will always go off from top-left to bottom-right, in the same backwards-S pattern at the gem links themselves, though I don't know how order is decided for identical CWDT gems in different item slots that have the same damage counter.

Not as much. Golems sit around 20k and immune to elemental damage thanks to Elementalist so they are pretty much immortal give or take. The free prolif and elemental conflux make it easy just to sit back and spam traps and watch everything freeze to death while the golems do work. Haven't got to high tier maps yet but merc lab and lower tier maps are easy as hell. I'm sure my build is very unoptimized though. Frost Bomb traps are just super fun.

Which of the Saboteur notable passives do you guys think is better after you have taken either the mine or trap focused ones.
While being able to create a smoke cloud when hit sounds good, you won't be getting anything out of the immunity to blind and blind on hit, but on the other passive you have a nice amount of elemental penetration and nifty added fire damage, but the reduced damaged from traps and mines is pointless.

You'd think with that much crazy shit going on people would be able to craft much more sophisticated armor when they're essentially swimming in gold and currency. Or people would feel just a slight bit flamboyant when they are fucking gods walking the battlefield. The artstyle of PoE just doesn't mirror the power trip the game puts you on and while that's fine for the beginning, in the later stages you'd hope for something more. There's a player-character disconnect there for me.

See I like down to earth armor designs, but I like them in down to earth fiction. Witcher can pull that shit off just fine and it has some very plain, good looking armor designs.

Decided to give this game its forth chance. The new player experience still sucks. Movement speed is ass, skills and attacks have neither impact nor feedback. The depth of the skill system only starts becoming apparent after you've got a 5-link, before that you're running, clicking on an enemy, your character GRINDS TO A FUCKING HALT and slowly uses the skill.

I was thinking of finding a way of making orb do more damage, but it's much more safe to use it as utility. I haven't bothered ascending a second time yet so only 30% MoM but with a fairly high level clarity my mana is up very fast after getting hit.

Will end up with AA, 40% MoM, high ES, decent life (154% on tree at the moment, changing bits up once I'm done farming shit tier maps), CwDT with MS and immortal call (5 endurance charges), leech from warlords and probably other things I'm forgetting.
