Does leaving the barn/coop doors open at night have a negative effect on the animals?

I used to just leave them open since they go inside at night and in the rain anyway (its summer so its not cold) but then started noticing once in a while my cows or chickens didn't produce for a day or so and I don't know why. I've been closing the doors every night now before going to bed and opening them in the morning but don't know if that does anything.

Legend has a really low bite rate. Took me 3 days of rainy day fishing from noon to night to get him.

This is probably anecdotal but I was fishing at level 9 fishing the entire time. On the third day I ate the Dish o the Sea giving me +3 fishing and he bit the very next cast.

eh, it's not like there were going to be a plethora of top tier sprite artists around the corner waiting to pounce on this game.

it's mostly just new art-style options, the quality is variable. it'll get better over time, but i'm mostly satisfied with the anime one. and i was very impressed by the unteralterbach-styled/inspired portraits. even if that art-style doesn't particularly appeal to me, the sprite work was very good.

more options is (almost) always a good thing, especially when it comes to custom mods.

I'm torn between Road Eternal and Fisher King. Fisher King is the obvious choice for me, but the thought of going to parallel Earths for Road Eternal is extremely tempting.

A couple thousand, ten thousand, or hundred thousand years in the Fisher King scenario may end up being grating. Maybe even end up being the last human being alive eventually.

For Road Eternal you could always just go to a new Earth though. Shame it'd be always human, would be interesting to wind up on a giant bug planet, with you being the only human.

I'd say, as long as you aren't growing exactly the same number of Starfruits as you are brewing Wine/Jam, it's worth it. You can slowly build up a stock of seeds, and buy replacements, to cut down on costs, and eventually make yourself independent from Sandy.
