Personally I feel it got kinda shittier as it got along, mostly once they tried to add a cohesive "plot" to it. It was better when it was just sonic invading games like a twat for cash.

Also mega man dies at the end was very disappointing, the crossover never sohuld have happened and mega man's death was anti-climatic to the point where it wasn't even chuckle worthy. I mean I get it's in the fucking title he dies at the end but I didn't expect it to be so fucking shit, I was hoping for atleast a joke to go with it or something.

For that "How would you design a Sonic cartoon?" thread on /co/: I would bring back the post-SA1, pre-Unleashed 2D style. I don't like how he looks in the Sonic CD FMVs, with his scrawny limbs, and a CGI cartoon with any of his designs would just look too plain. The entire game-canon cast (Boom doesn't count because it's in an alternate universe) would be in the show, with the main characters being Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, and Eggman. Secondary characters include Shadow, Rouge, Omega, Cream, the Chaotix, Knack, Bean, Bark, and a few others. Tertiary characters include Blaze, Silver, Metal Sonic, and other characters that wouldn't be hanging around the same area as the rest of the cast.

Most of the characters have voices that are more natural, more fitting, and just all-around better, as well as having refined personalities. The style of animation resembles SA2, only with 100% less crappy motion-capture. The characters live in a world with both humans and other anthropomorphic animals, with the former being in the same art-style as the latter, like how Eggman and Billy Hatcher are designed. Non-anthropomorphic animals, like flickies, are also still in the Sonic style, no matter how big they are.

The show's structure consists of either the characters doing whatever stuff they happen to be doing in their daily lives, or actually going on an action-packed Stop Eggman quest whenever they find out he's doing something bretty bad. These episodes are arks (not of the Space Colony variety), and there are about three or four of them each season. Eggman's schemes are also clever and original each time, and he's made out to be an actual threat who's feared by citizens, with multiple attempts to bring him to justice having been made by actual forces in the past. The music is also composed by the SA1 composers. There's also a Chao-raising episode.
