I played the original Japanese version and honestly, the petting minigame was really tedious and it took forever sometimes to get the heart to appear.

In terms of dialogues and support conversations it was like Xenoblade X for me. Nothing drastic that affected my experience when I was playing the NA version. People are honestly overblowing it.

The voices are fairly flat, the voice direction is legitimately bad, which was odd, considering Awakening was pretty good.

A lot of the supports have been changed drastically, removing the original meaning/interactions. Some characters have all their supports changed to revolve around single fixations (Effie with STR, one kid with Pickles), and other deplorable shit. Saizou and Beluka's C Support has been changed to ... ... ... ... from what it was in Nip ver, while their B/A supports haven't changed. This is really weird, considering the B and A support rely on things established in C. Plenty of shit like that where the tone/context of supports/character interactions changes drastically in a way that assassinates the established character.

Hard. I had Nyx on the Fire Orb, Niles on the middle ballista, and Mozu on the right one. Everything went fine until near the end when there's too many for me to kill, and either Mozu or Nyx get rekt by somebody making it through.

Anyway, I just beat the mission. I went with Mozu to defend her, and pulled Camilla back to defend Nyx, and it went much better. I had to give up one of the houses to do it, though.

You and your group have deplete its bar when it's at 0 RP. Supposedly, if you see the defeat notice before you land the killing blow, you can't get the achievement until next time. There was a guy here who had a decent guide to how to do it.

The only thing I can suggest is to make and abandon the global nemesis mission to update it when it gets that low. The moment you see it at 0 RP, run in there and slam it with the Ares 90 as fast as possible. You could always wait for people, but if you're really desperate just do it yourself. One full rotation of Ares 90's arts is more than enough to deplete a bar. I'd say the superweapon is enough by itself, but the one time I did it, I had to fire off Agni Gatling for the last bit

There doesn't seem to be info about what arts are multi attribute beyond "you need both null reflect THERM and PHYS for Detonation Flail" and the in game advertisement for the Trident Anchor that says it's electric and physical.
How does being dual attribute effected by enemy resistances or your own attribute damage augs?

We don't have values for how much bonus damage skell weapon arts that do more damage to _____ do.

We don't have a list of which arts make you status immune during execution (although I hypothesize that it's all the right side only gear)

Don't make boost augs, you should hit 100% boost, which is the cap, just from the built in augs in your weapon.
Boost 12 is 17%, so you either need 6 pieces of gear or 5 with 3 of them upgraded.

People hit greater than 3k attack with both boost and 100% Drive on their ground gear.

The real decision is SpecUp or Slayer, and the optimal ratio there depends on a bunch of factors and requires math to figure out.

On the flip side, I found an old friend.

So considering the focus on exploration and all the treasures everywhere, why did they get rid of the Ether crystals from the first Xenoblade?

Their new system of killing an enemy 50 times for materials feels a lot worse to go through the motions of then the previous way to get stuff to slot into your gear.

It's not like there aren't excellent places to hide crystal gather points all over the world.
Right now we've got a couple caves, like Turtles Nest and Demon's Pocket, that don't really have much of a point.

I'm pretty sure the only places where two tyrants of the same species spawn in the same place are the tyrant Petramands on top of the lava falls by Abandoned Bivouac, and the two tyrant Ovis that spawn under Pyotr.

In both cases, the two tyrants are in the same level range so they drop the same stuff.
Also in the case of the petramands, it's not a recommenced spot, and in the case of the ovis they CLEARLY aren't Sylooth, which is what the guide sends you there to kill.

Those small, helpful things that make farming more efficient? Because in-game, the enemy stats only give you a vague level range that may or may not show up in the actual world.

Does it matter? Yes, because RNG will do, what RNG does, so every placebo helps, or that some placebo is better than none, for time and effort considered.

This actually doesn't matter.
I thought that having both text and a chart that explains this right at the top of the guide would be sufficient to explain that enemies of the same type in the same 10 level range, in this case 51 to 60, have the same drop pool.

I'm weary to list Badr Basin because series 60 can't possibly drop there, it's a series 40 or 50 location instead.
I've been thinking of adding locations for series 40 for every weapon in the future just for completeness, but I'm not quite decided yet.
Anyway, ME M-Missle does have an alt location listed for series 60, ctrl+f it and see what pops up

While I don't think your needs are exactly common, it is easy enough to write "requires flight pack" when that's the case, and then give an alt that doesn't.
It will be on the to do list for when I get home, along with better placement for the color key

I like the idea of putting it (but don't go crazy finding it if it takes too much time.) If nothing else "requires flight pack" makes it extra clear where the mob of enemies is, because you know it has to be somewhere up high.
