On console, we could hire and return a pawn from the rift with items a few times without getting flagged for a temp rocking, but it seems it was shored up on console. So, we'll do some killing, then I'll send her back with a cursed weapon, rehire and kill some more.

I fucking hate everything about this game. I want to have fun as warrior, NOPE GAME LITERALLY SHITS ON YOU FOR PICKING THAT VOCATION

ok fine I'll play ranger. Literally ez mode cheese through the next like 3 BBI bosses becasue hurr burr guess what you can kill them from outside the room without even being in combat.

I got to Daimon and at fucking level 115 with 3800 hp he literally fucking 2 shots me, and if by some miracle I can grab onto his back and start using hundred kisses he flicks his finger and in less than half a second I get hit by lightning, which knocks me off, then stuns me, letting me get fucking hit by the next 3 giant fucking ice dicks from the ground leading to instant death even though the lightning and first ice hit killed me already anyways.

I read all the shit on the wiki, and literally fucking none of it matters. It says to use blast arrows on his face with tenfold but they do LITERALLY nothing. No damage, no stun, no knockback. He's immune to literally everything else.

Fuck this game.

So I just got the quest, Final Battle.
I've heard you guys talk alout about postgame/postdragon and just wanted to ask if that is something you're forced into after I beat the dragon or is there one more step after this?
I havnt done BBI yet at all and I'm wondering if I should do that now. I don't want the game to end before I've seen the dlc, but I want to do everything possible first beforehand.

Also, you unlock some kind of everfall dungeon that drops great gear, but it isnt worth it cause BBI has better stuff anyway?!
I just don't wanna end up in NG+ suddenly

There is the everfall after you beat the dragon and the world is changed(many stronger monsters added throughout). There is also a quest you get in the everfall that will take you to NG+ upon completion.

Regardless you could do BBI after the everfall chambers or at the beginning or NG+ if you wanted.

Honestly, the advice on the wiki is absolute garbage written by idiots. It's completely dependent on being overleveled as fuck and minmaxing bullshit.
I killed him as a ranger at your level just yesterday and I found staying at range was the best method. Dodge roll as much as you need to, since it doesn't cost stamina because this game is dumb. Magick archer was a lot easier but it's doable with ranger, it'll just take a while.

So, I could REALLY use some advice for my sorcerer pawn's loadout. She's currently Utilitarian/Challenger/Mitigator, with High Bolide, High Fulmination, High Gicel, High Comestion, High Miasma, and High Voidspell.

In BBI 1.0, she was doing fine. She got her spells off about 30% of the time, but when she did, it would instantly yield a victory, which seemed pretty good. But now in BBI 2.0, she can't do anything. The huge hordes of enemies and non-stop aggression of the larger enemies means that she's interrupted ALL THE TIME. She can never get spells off. I've only seen her successfully Gicel a drake once since defeating Daimon, and that was when it fell over, and then immediately grabbed and hypnotized a pawn. Otherwise, the wind pressure on the wings interrupts her, or, bizarrely, she'll try jumping on the dragons to distract them because nobody else is doing so, which is useful, but definitely undesirable behavior on a sorcerer. Now all she does is shoot her little staff balls, climb on things, and occasionally cast High Miasma.

Obviously, her spells need to change to maybe one big spell and a lot of small, fast spells, so that she'll be more useful more of the time. Is it worth getting her Stability so that she can ignore wind pressure while casting? Is a status effect heavy sorcerer worthwhile? Is there a better primary/secondary/tertiary inclination layout for a sorcerer pawn in BBI 2.0?

I'm asking because my Fighter Pawn (Scather/Challenger) often ignores small enemies and does nothing if there are no big enemies or casters around, so I assume having Mitigator as a secondary will fix that.

Why are people so insistent on holy and fire for BBI on pawns?

Death, the pope, and giant saurian sages are three great reasons not to bring holy, and the presence of drakes, pyre saurians, and hellhounds are a good reason not to bring fire. No enemy in BBI absorbs or resists ice or lightning except for wyverns and wyrms, and they're both susceptible to the one they're not immune to.

I feel like holy and fire enchantments have fucked me over far more than they've ever helped in BBI.

I'm done with my solo Magick Archer run.
Killed Grigori, fucked offline Ur-Dragon on NG, and tried help on the online one, cleared BBI and BBI 2.0 with only those fucking drakes as a problem. got end game gear from BBI too.

Anyway, i guess this is it. just need to kill death, finishing NG+ and i'm done until th sequel.

Everytime I make my post the thread has just finished god damn it.

If I hire someone's pawn online, and then immediately turn the game to offline, does the pawn still take back Rift Crystals for the user? If so, does it happen the moment I go back online? What if the pawn dies when I'm offline, does it just wait until I go online again to send the Rift Crystals back to the user?

I ask because I'm doing some Rift Crystal farming with Daimon killing and I think it's probably best I take someone's pawn with me rather than just having all this potential RC go to waste. So anyone want some?

It takes me about 15 minutes to get about 60k rift crystals and I dunno, probably... about 30k for you per run I do.

Try exploring a little before going to Dark Arisen. Some of the Everfall content (some, not all) is kind of interesting, and revisiting areas in Gransys can yield fights with large monsters that weren't present before, like drakes and wyverns all over the damn fields, griffons near the bandit fort, and a hydra underneath the shadowfort.

There are also a few unique enemies in the Everfall you won't see if you just skip it, like the arch hydra, the evil eye, the Ur-Dragon, and a few dickish rooms like a chimera, gorechimera, and a lich that summons unlimited hellhounds.

I just found out that setting fire to a hydra's neck stump prevents the head from regrowing while the debilitation is active, and if you remove all four heads and have them burning simultaneously, the hydra dies instantly and the fight ends, regardless of how much health it has remaining.

I have never seen this before.
