So I noticed when exploring my SD there was a NAND.bin file since god knows when, I asume this is my initial sysNAND from before I did anything, containing my NNID, StreetPass and eShop data.

How safe is it to inject this on my current emunand to make sure that data is there?

Or should I just stick with my fresh new emuNAND? (at some step when creating it I used TinyFormat on it thinking I was formating sys)

I already backed emu up but I'm kind of unsure if injecting NAND.bin will render my current emu unusable or not

The error message is different but here's what I did to get Browser Hax to work every time

1)Set your DNS to Tubehax with primary ending in 165 and secondary ending in 065.
2)Turn Off WiFi
3)Open browser
4)Ignore the WiFi has to be on error
Type in the browser hax URL, but use the fright version, not auto.
5)Bookmark it
6)Exit Browser
7)Turn on WiFi
8)Highlight the browser icon
9)Shut down 3DS
10)Turn on 3DS
11)Spam A to get into browser
12)Quickly go to your bookmarks and load the bookmark you just made

It worked keep every time for me using this method.

If it didn't work, simply turn off your 3DS and try again from step 8

So I followed what I assume was a bad pastebin ( http://pastebin.com/j9DFi1SE ) and I was getting some weird shit where I couldn't boot into emuNAND. I tried uninstalling menuhax in hopes that if I did that, then I could EmuNAND9 format for a emuNAND without menuhax fucking it up. I think that just fucked it up more, and now even after reinstalling menuhax (which gave me several errors when I did so), I can't reopen emunand9, and now I can't even get into the Homebrew Menu from the Ctr Boot Manager.

the sysupdater mods (julian20's and safesysupdater) use mch2, which is an unstable workaround and hence takes 20 thousand tries to get working

I updated by emunand to 10.4 but now everytime I launch rxtools and choose to open emunand, i just get a black screen and nothing happens. I am using rxtools 2.6 btw.

However, I am retarded and cannot figure out what in God's name I have to do to download cakes if I already have RxTools installed, or if I don't even need cakes to get the AGB file patched onto my sysNAND.

install gba games and agb firm signature patch in rx devmode on rxtools 3.0+ so both things are on sysnand first then install agb firm signature patchand the same gba games to emunand. oh and you'll have to inject fbi to health and safety on sysnand with the rxtools boot menu options (it will also create a restoreable backup of regular h&s for later) so you can use it to install things on sysnand whemn you run rx devmode.
