1. Download Simple CIA converter.
2. Follow programs directions; it'll make a ncchinfo.bin file. Place it on the root of your ad card
3a. Load up rxtools, but hold L before booting, and decrypt the ncchinfo.bin
3b load up decrypt9 on 9.2 firmware, choosing xorpad decryption as the option.
4. Take sd/microsd card out and copy paste the xorpads into simple CIA converter's xorpad folder
5. Press convert .3ds to .CIA
6. Done

This was rather difficult to type up on my phone, please have mercy on me.

I'm reposting this since I missed the jump to the new thread.

Earlier, several people were asking for a .cia for FTP after FTPBrony's speed improvement.

Vorpal Blade over at GTATemp has a recent fork of FTPBrony that has been de-ponified. Pic related is me transferring a copy of my EmuNAND.bin from my N3DS to my PC.

Additionally, I was hoping one of you guys could point me in the right direction to figure out why BigBlueMenu isn't working for me. I've installed the cia to my emunand with FBI, but whenever I try to launch it I get a popup that states "an error has occurred, forcing the software to close. The system will now restart"

I got my copy of BigBlueMenu.cia from one of the OP pastebins. It was bundled in "n3dscakepack.tar"

I'm presently on sysNAND 9.2, emuNAND 10.3. I've tried launching it will using both cakes and reinand as my CFW.

Games installed with FBI are running, so I guess at least part of what I have setup is working.

Was there an extra step for setting up bigbluemenu that I missed? Do I need a newer version of the cia? I've tried looking for newer cias, but so far I've only found cias for bigbluemenu with the same SHA1 checksum.

I suppose I can just keep using FBI, but I'd like to try new things.

That happens a lot, along with "Failed to get CIA info" and freezes before you press Y. They're all normal and harmless, keep trying. The only problem is if it actually freezes/fucks up while downgrading (which you'll know because it happens after you press Y and when the .cia names start appearing). Be careful, even if it looks like it's frozen during the downgrade, just let it sit for like 30 minutes just in case.

The patched version of sysUpdater that people use to downgrade uses memchunkhax2, and only that patched version. Normal, legit sysUpdater is typically run as a .cia and just asks and receives all the necessary privileges. The official .3dsx is useless unless you're in like some CFW that patches ACL checks.

Dev/BBM give it the same title is as the real game, so when you try to uninstall it, it'll uninstall the full game.
