In the courtyard, there is the ruined building on the left side (your back to the gate you opened for the soldiers). Go up the ladder (the door is barred from the inside), and go into the doorway. There will be a hallway with jail cells, the same area that you had to go to to find the broken lever so you could open the main gate for the soldiers. The portcrystal is in one of those cells.

For people who still have issues with pawn rentals, try setting pawn rentals to "no one," hard save at an inn, then turn it to "everyone" and hard save again.

Pawn rentals started working for me yesterday, but only after I did that(and as far as I know I've only been getting recent pawn rentals and not older ones back).

Also, does hard mode factor in on damage received from Ur-Dragon?
Ran into it without being prepared at all and it didn't seem that awful other than it killing pawns a lot. And I don't think I hit the 10 minute limit on it, either.

Early game I would suggest Legion's Might but she seems like a fine enough pawn. Most people will suggest Holy over Lightning but I personally have more problems dealing with Ogres and Cyclops than I do with... well... anything weak to fire.

So does ring of perseverance stack? Will you get 200% more dcp if you have 2x equiped on both you and your pawn?

Oh fuck yeah it is. your final skill, dragon's maw, not only does insane damage, but also grants I-frames. You'll be able to tank your way through almost anything. Only thing you'll have to be careful of are spellcasters, especially levin (the quick lightning spell), since your magick defense isn't the strongest. Just be aware of your surroundings, and get used to perfect blocks (the prescience augment from fighter widens the window to perfect block, grab it when its available).

BBI baby. I entered at like 52, beat Daimon and walked out at 73. Went into 2.0, walked back out at like 94 (popped a pilgrims charm for Daimon 2.0, got 3 levels out of the second half of the boss fight).

Or, farm death in the garden with blast errors and conq perries under weal. Up to level 150 or so, you should get anywhere from 3 - 10 levels per kill under weal, and the chance for level 3 cursed items.

Just got to the "true" Everfall or whatever it's called. This is the coolest fucking area I've ever seen in a game.

How would you rank vocations in terms of likeliness to be hired? Assuming they don't have guardian/nexus/pioneer/acquisitor.

I think mages are very popular at the beginning but no one picks them by bitterblack, while warriors are never chosen because only a human understands arcs and the timing of those moves for example.

Despite its age, and the console origins of the game, I think it looks great and has some charm, but holy fuck do nights during post game look awful.
Especially if you have a lantern equipped, look at those circles around the character. Its not that bad in that screenshot though sometimes its awful.

I missed out on Witchwood & Everfall so this was the last one I was supposed to get to really be okay with the travel system but if it's not here then what the fuck seriously.

As an MA, your best bet is to load the heart up with explosive rivets (cursed dragons are weak to holy and don't like fire), then either detonate them yourself or have a pawn do it. Tossing 2 or 3 casts of rivet into the heart then detonating them should be good for a lifebar.

Is there a benefit to using mkb over controller for archer classes ?
I have a few vocations to rank 9 including MA and Ranger, currently playing MK since the start pretty much, and played all the way with the 360 controller.

Well, she's the only way to get a golden idol, and you need a golden idol to finish two quests in the game.

And your golden idol does carry over into NG+, so doing it on your first playthrough is very much advised.

11-30 Assassin
