If the guys who made the AutoHotKey script that binds J, C and M to quests, equipment and map is here, I installed it but pressing any of the keys (J,C or M) just cycles through the stuff.

Once your weapon damage get's really high, you can out DPS with repeated Lashes or Lunges... but the knockdown on Arc is ridiculous especially once you get the ring.

Is there anyway to get a pawn to re-cast a buff on me or change it?

I often hire pawns with multiple element boons and frequently they'll give me a bad element (like fire on hell hounds) and even if I spam help they wont do shit so I'm just nerfed until it wears off, hoping it doesn't cast fucking fire boon on me again.

Most people tackle BBI either after beating the game or during post-game, yes. Around level 60 or so.

What do you mean by ending class? Both are valid pawn choices (though Warrior is probably the worst of all 6 classes), given they're trained well and have the right inclinations so they're not doing stupid shit all the time.

So I started up the game to see how it would run on my computer. At max setting I didn't get any noticeable slow-down. Is this indicative of how the game will run or is that a poor benchmark seeing as the whole part leading up to charecter creation was inside?

I did Hardmodo too, but because I played the crap out of DDDA on console and was more than happy to efficiently grind out levels and rush some shit.

Doesn't have much impact on BBI though, that has more to do with gear than anything. If you didn't get lucky with a L2 Cursed Weapon or rarify a high level vanilla weapon you will probably get stopped cold at Sweet Pope & Hella Drake.

Yo, I'm new. I'm level 27, holding off on Wyrm Hunt, been mostly strider but am leveling warrior now to get the strength buff. I don't know squat diddly about raising a proper pawn. I hear you have to be the same class as your pawn and then "show them what to do," but my pawn is a Mage. Would I have to become a Mage as well? Would I have to level up as a Mage to get particular spells, to use them in a certain way so the pawn learns?

Nearly every enemy in BBI is weak to magic of one form or another. MA has a skill called Ricochet Arrow which does Ice Damage and bounces off walls to do more and more damage. Since the majority of BBI is hallways and tunnels, they can effectively wipe out enemies in seconds with a single skill. Not to mention their other great skills like Immolation, Rivet, Shadowsnare, etc.

If you're struggling with MA, your mag atk skill is low. Get better gear.

How far is your stuff already upgraded? Even at 3 stars its only a 18% chance when you kill drakes/wyrms/wyverns.

If you kill the wyrm on floor 10 of the everfall in post-game you can godsbane yourself and retry until you get something dragonforged.

It is recommended to be a similar vocation, if not the same, as your pawn, so you can better train them in using their skills effectively

DD looks like a game I'll get many hours out of, so I'm going to try my best not to fuck up my Pawn. I'm already looking in to the inclination stuff, and apparently I can "teach" them stuff that they'll try and use themselves, and if successful it'll get used more and more. I understand that there's a "perfect block"/"parry" system; could I teach my Pawn to perfect block a lot?

If so, would starting out as a fighter with a fighter pawn just to teach them how to block be worthwhile? If nothing else, if I decide to start playing a ranger/bow dude later on, I have a fighter very good at those blocks.

you'd probably get a better answer from someone with more experience with fighter pawns but I think angling for a scather/mitigator might be good.
As for being the same class as your pawn. I think it helps but it's not necessary. It might be different for fighters though and a few levels as a fighter wouldn't hurt anyway.

As someone who played the 360 version for a few thousand hours... what the fuck. Why are bandits so strong? On 360 I went strider>ma>fighter>ma and didn't minmax even a bit on my arisen (though I did for my pawn), but bandits were never a problem. Now if I run into a group there's 500 of them and 20 of them have bows that do half of my nearly 2k hp even with 3 star mid-game gear.

Here's my pawn. It's a persistent character I've taken from game to game and intend to have as part of a mod I'll make for Fallout 4 once the G.E.C.K. comes out.

I have her trained to basically be mobile artillery. Set them on fire, disarm them, knock them off of shit, etc. She can go through places solo, even against an Ogre.

As a Ranger do I need to use those special arrows for be effective or can I just use the skills as is?
