Anyone here who played Battle Realms? I'm wondering if there's anyone who remembers that old fan page that it had (it seems to be gone now) that had all the unit resistance information / other in depth stuff.

I'm trying to write an actual good unit / faction guide since BR is going to get released on Steam Q1 2016. All the guides out there are lackluster as far as deep understanding of the game goes since there are so, so many things that you can't comprehend just by playing the game alone since it isn't explained or even mentioned in game.

I think you can play MP without African Kingdoms still. The balance changes were mostly small, it hasn't been really figured out yet as far as I know.

The most important balance change was probably the fact that Camels are fucking finally not considered to be "boats" (since boat units get extra damage from Towers/Town Centers/Castles). They still take a bit extra damage but no longer the massive boat bonus.
