All heals for party. All heals for one person. Great heals for one person. Curatives for poison/tupor/petrification or whatever you're going to fight. If you want to be cheap you can get a punch of empty flasks and just get a bunch of spring water which heals the whole party by default for 500hp per bottle and they'll autospam the moment anyone goes critical

If you're strider, grab Ensnare. It makes the shield bandits easy, though it's still tough if there are two of them.

Otherwise, just keep rezzing your pawns and wait for one of them to grab and hold the bandit up for you to attack. Do heavy attacks on him.

Strider initially is a very utilitarian class.
You're meant to be ensnaring tough bandits and rushing down weaker ones, but initially you're gonna have a hard time with some enemies.
Skeletons in special are gonna push your shit in unless you use ensnare on them as well.

It's most definitely not representative of the rest of the game though, especially after you get Helm Splitter and learn to use it.
You're also not meant to kite people with your bow on Strider, instead you should get a Fighter pawn with Shield Summons/Shield Drum so they draw enemy attention. Then you use your strong bow skills on the cluster of enemies.

Ensnare is a necessity for Striders, I can't stress this enough.

So I have a big problem with my game. It started out fine but just as I got to the chimera. Game works perfectly fine but suddenly the keyboard stopped responding properly and whenever I tried to move it would lag the game and I would hear constant beeps (though my headset not the bios). Nothing is overheating, I have plenty of CPU and memory and if I don't move at all the game runs perfectly. Keyboard works just fine in anything else too.

I swear this is not a min maxing question, so here I go :

playing MK, and I read on the wiki some of the best augments in the game that pretty much every class should get at some point ( I guess ), like Clout, Acuity, Articulacy, all of which would boost MK deeps by a fair amount.
My question is : does it matter when I get them ?
I have been grinding fighter until rank 7 for Prescience, then switched to MK and actually want to play it. I really, really dont want to grind until rank 9 both warrior and sorcerer for their augments, but will my damage suffer too much in the meantime ?

So, does the PC port look really washed out, or is it just me?

I just got new monitors yesterday, and I spent 2 hours carefully adjusting brightness, contrast, and gamma on them. Every other game I've played maybe requires a tick of gamma adjustment at best, but I remember Dragon's Dogma having ridiculously dark nights and caves, and regardless of gamma or brightness, the caves and darkness look kind of grey and awash with ambient lighting in this version.
