Is anyone else getting this problem at nights? My lantern creates a weird circle of light all around my character, but its not actual light?

Idk how to describe it really...you can see it in the picture. Its almost as if in a circle around my character there is a circle of textures that are off. when I move they are misalined with all the other textures as well. Happens without the lantern as well but its more pronounced when its on.

Makes it really hard to make out anything at night. I know nights are supposed to be dark but this seems more like a texture/lighting problem or glitch...

I'm not sure about the problem in this pic, but the lantern thing I believe to be caused by the texture for the lantern's light being upscaled, buffs and shit from mages do the same thing and it makes aiming a bow at night very hard. Then again I might be completely wrong about the cause

What you wanna do is just max out the rank for Warrior and Sorcerer, and maybe Fighter and Mage. Sprinkle some Ranger in there, too, for Stamina and, again, more useful augments. By the time you have all the augments you need, your stats will be hunky-dory.

I've been getting bored of the normal lack of combinations in the game. Using cheat engine you can set your dagger slots with skills from all dagger using classes. It allows for some interesting combinations.

Funny thing is that the mechanics are structured as if you would find them all on one character. Even when using a skill that normally comes with a class that doesn't have a dodge roll you still can't dodge roll cancel out of it. Instead it just jumps.

If we can get a 1 character with all moves setup dragon's dogma would be cuhrayzee as fuck.

Try to make her face a bit rounder, get rid of the lipstick, and concentrate on the mouth.

Min maxing in this is kinda upsetting because it means you will spend the majority of your time playing a class you actually dont want to play.

Yesterday when I was playing, when i'd go to the place to recruit new pawns, they all belonged to other players, but I ended up remaking my character, and now no matter what I do, I can't get anyone elses pawns, only the generic ones.

Okay, if anyone was wondering about the state of modding-

It looks like we are mostly waiting on the people(person?) developing the ARC unpacker/repacker at http://residentevilmodding.boards.net/board/29/re6-modding-tools

So far, that person seems to have only just begun to add support for dragon's dogma's weird file extensions from compressed files WITHIN the .arc files.

At the moment, from what I can see, we can at least easily make "mods" that do some minor mechanics and statistical stuff, like in pic related: changing the stat gains per character level based on vocation.

Look at those interesting vocation names.

Anyway, doing something like homogenizing the stat gains so that every vocation gains the same stats up to max level should be incredibly simple.

Once we have more supported file types, and with a lot of experimentation, we ought to be able to edit a lot of more interesting values.

I don't like the pawn system at all. I made a great party of an elf healer, a human mage, and a viking fighter and now I have to switch 2 of them out because they do not level with me.

And 90% of pawns you find are garbage-tier waifus made by sad retards. Can't form any attachment to the party at all. Very bad.
