Before you leave Sol this is indisputable. It's just too damn expensive and time consuming to build the ships. First it's going to take years to get a shipyard to a real size so you aren't building ships with 1 god damn module on them. Then they take up precious Mercassium, while installations only take Duranium and Boronide. Then you need to build all the other ship shit that makes them go in space which is more resources and a side effect, more time.

If you build infrastructure right then the colonies should start building enough of their own to be self sufficient until you terraform the planet, then you ought to have tens of thousands of infrastructure to move around and repeat the process.
Unless you're retarded and you try to put infrastructure on Venus. They're only going to complain your whole game and put interrupts in your auto-turns. It can be colonized, but only by ships and it will take like 100 years from the moment you start to colonize it.

Historical, although Crete had a sizable muslim population, many of those muslims were Greek converts who converted to get favorable taxes/civil advantages. I'm going to halve the Turk population but replace the removed turks with muslim Greeks. The religion wont change, but the ethnicity will.

Well I feel it should be modelled for two reasons:

1. Historical accuracy

2. More flavour for the region.

Currently nothing happens in Australia until three quartets of the way through the game, it is literally just a big red blob. This does nothing to represent the actual story of the region.

Furthermore, I would support Prince Edward Island being given substrate status in 1849 if it wasn't for it being so irrelevant, but Australia is a lot more relevant than a tiny island in Canada, currently Australia has literally no flavour whatsoever where as every other country, including Argentina is accurately represented, why does the game model the Argentine confederation but not the Australian states?

Is this ship design any good?
It's basically a big cargo ship. 5 cargo holds, but with 20 engines that have .10 engine power (200 EP a piece) for maximum fuel consumption. The other design has 3 engines at .50 engine power (1000 EP a piece) and it would take a very large fuel tank (1,000,00 fuel)to get to the edge of the Solar System and back, not that I need it to shuttle stuff that far, but I think it's a good measurement.

Basically, far as I can tell, it uses a little more duranium to build, twice the mercassium (still low amount), and less galicite.
It's obviously larger, and if it were a ship with a single cargo hold then it would be massively bigger than the alternative.
