Browserhax will most likely be disabled remotely. Menuhax will still work. Any safe mode firmware recovery will restore you to 10.4/11.0/whatever which almost certainly patches out everything that matters. If you softbrick, it's gg no re on downgrading and you get to join the 10.4 never ever club.

Also, if you format then you won't have a way of actually getting Menuhax on your system without a prepared physical game, so keep that in mind too.

The browser checks in with Nintendo to make sure it can run. It'll still work if you have a valid check-in from recentlyish (it checks every 24 hours and if it can't contact the server then it'll work for like an extra week or two), otherwise it'll just refuse to work.

I followed this guy and deleted and installed all the stuff, Im using acekard2i and it has the horse icon so its supposed to work on 4.3 3ds firmwares

Im on old 3ds so I choosed TWL_FIRM 4.0 and installed it on NAND and tried on sys/normalnand but it gives me error on those two and in emunand is just stuck with a black screen

For people wanting to improve bootrates with a menuhax+ctrbootmanager setup (and any cfw, since they all use cakehax to boot) I've caught word that using the 2.1hax payload instead of the 2.5hax payload improves things a lot.

I've done everything correctly.
I downloaded 9.2.0-20U(FULL).zip
I put it in a folder called "updates," (not update as the guide didn't spell it that way) and sysUpdater still isn't doing the 8 number check.

I've read the guide like my life depended on it and i still don't know what's wrong.

So, uhh, why isn't my custom theme being applied? I go into CHMM and hit A and it says "Installing Theme"
That takes a few seconds, then disappears. I hit Start, Exit CHMM and go back to the emuNAND menu but there's no theme. What am I doing wrong?

You realize that the time it takes to install a .cia is the same as downloading and installing from the eshop, right? The bottleneck is the CPU of the 3DS. Unless you're going to exclusively play physical games, it's not like there's a better way.

So, I'm using a new SD card for hax/downgrading, and I copied the Nintendo 3DS folder from my original SD card to the new one, but I can't seem to get the existing eshop games to display on my homescreen when I put the hax SD card in.

However, they still show when I load the original SD card. Any clue why that might be? (Wanting to extract my saves to ensure I don't lose the existing ones before I set up emunand and all that).

I'm also assuming there's no way to get my homescreen layout back after it was lost from downgrading?

Guess what I do own a New 3DS and tried A LOT of 3DS games in 802 clock.

The most notable differences were in:
-Heroes of Ruin gets a stable framerate.
-Tales of Abyss framerate improves only a bit in the overworld.
-Monster Hunter 3U gets a stable framerate with 3D on.
-MGS3 framerate improves A BIT, but it still gets low framerate.
-Pokemon gets an improvement when battling in 3D with SOME pokemon, most of them still make the framerate drop.


The rest of the games either have their framerate capped (like Revelations or DKC) or dont get an improvement at all like the rest of the fucking games.

I updated the cakepacks in my guide with a test build of Cakes that fixes autoboot and removes the need for the slot0x25KeyX.bin file. You still need slot0x11key96.bin on 9.6+ N3DS, though.

That's the error when your NNID is unliked in Nintendo's servers, probably because you formatted your sysnand but cloned it to emunand beforehand, so it still looks linked offline. You'll have to backup your emunand, format, link NNID and then restore backup. The retards guide has the steps for it, although the sd backup is kinda misleading on how to tell which sd folder is your emunand but you can backup both just in case.
