Just so you know I made another 300K credits in about 40 minutes. Not that awesome but for some fun (2 very fast exchanges) it was really good.

You will get better as you find out what people want. You then give it to them. Once you gain more experience you will know what makes people tick. I am able to get people off VERY quick (and they sometimes get really embarrassed at how fast they finished). I just tell them "you loved it and later we can do it again".

Or you can go back to doing heroic 2 mans.

BTW - pro-tip. If you plan on doing this don't let them know your legacy name. Don't do it on your "main" if you intend on doing other things (Flashpoints, Operations, PvP, etc).

This alt is just for ERP and occasionally some PvP in case things are running a bit slow.

Now you can get back up on the horse or quit. Frankly this was the best lesson. You learned from this. I guarantee it won't happen again.

often times people get a bunch of armor in boxes. They got what they wanted and just want to sell the shit to get it out of their inventory.

In other words these are rich people who don't care about the market. SO they will dump it.

Always first look to see if the armor set is there, then look at the "upper" and "lower" and "supplementary" armor kits. Find out how much those are.

Then price the individual pieces. Sometimes it is cheaper getting them a-la-cart and sometimes it is WAY cheaper to get them in the box.

Have fun and be patient. In a few days the GTN is going to be flooded with armor sets when the cooldown is over for people buying lots of boxes.

What I mean is, I've found "Upper body" boxes for around 5k (that contain both the chest and glove pieces), while the chest pieces contained within them are going for like 50k on their own at the cheapest.

I have often bought hypercrates of stuff. I have gotten the armor sets that I wanted and had a lot of stuff left.

I figured I would let those who didn't have as much as me get to enjoy them.

I used to hand them out to people but people would freak out when I would open a trade window and often I would get a "go away" or curse words.

So I would just put them really cheap and hope some asshole wouldn't buy them all to resell them (ha, good luck with that) but usually they were sold to different people.

So often times it is not done out of spite but more of a "meh, I need to get this out of my inventory - let me have a fire sale."

Funny side note - my guild banned me from putting things in the guild bank because it caused a lot of fights. People got mad over they didn't get certain items and my guild master took me aside and told me it was causing heartburn.

So no good deed goes unpunished I guess. Anyways good luck in finding good stuff. I will be dumping a ton of things on Jedi Colony tomorrow (in about 16 hours when I can sell them). So watch the GTN for a very nice sale on full sets of armor.

I am somewhat obsessive about having all the sets of armor and vehicles and weapons. I have almost all of them already (There are I think about 24 different things I don't have but I know eventually I will get them).

So this has been fun for me. About 1 in 10 were gear I didn't have (I bought bronze boxes) and as my close friends already have all the stuff I have I just figure I will put them on the GTN. Out of the two, Ebon Hawk is the better rp server. But if you have massive ping/lag issues depending on which coast your closer to, its better to play on the one your closer to. I have noticed republic side while leveling both jedi and trooper that theres a lot more edgelords than there is imperial side.

I would say about 2 years off an on. I have only recently been fixated in getting the armor sets and spending a lot of money buying the gold and now bronze armor sets. I know I could BUY the missing sets but I have more fun opening boxes and seeing if it comes. I am weird that way.

But if you want to get some kits wait a bit after the new stuff comes on the cartel market. Right away the stuff will be very expensive but keep an eye on things as people will start to dump things to get them off their inventory.

i've played all the stories, personal opinion:

Sith Warrior = Sith Inquisitor = Imp Agent > Jedi Knight > Smuggler > Trooper > Bounty Hunter > Jedi Consular

Sith Warrior and Imp Agent has an overall better story than Inquisitor, but to me the Inquisitor had the most satisfying ending

Consular is drawn down from horrible voice acting and a mediocre story, Jedi Knight has sub-par voice acting, but a pretty decent story

No worries, happy help when possible or when not spamming screenshots. But yeh, if you want more mobility go the hatred equivlent, youll rely more on dots but youll be moving about a lot more too. Though the deception spec will give you a lot more damage and they are doing some of the highest damage right now. I think their only getting beat by juggernaut dps specs and powertechs who go Advanced Prototype.

I need some advice /swgg/, i know ive posted far too many screen shots, but id like to know if there is a way i can improve upon this outfit. I like the color scheme ive got going, but i cant seem to find a proper mix between mandalorian and decent armor.

anyone got any ideas for a jedi knight outfit? I'd kinda bored of the standard cloak and hood, was thinking something more like a kyle katarn/smuggler look but dont really know where to start.

Not really. I'm expecting BW to use something like a hidden corruption counter to determine some things later.

Basically, think of Kira and the Children of the Empire as prototypes. The Emperor could assume direct control of any of his children at will. Because Kira was "incomplete", she was able to fight him off.

I expect something similar to happen but likely more dramatic.

I wonder if people would pay for eRP scenarios, like you go in and clear out a flashpoint and then they come in while you RP as the boss, send your companions after them for "boss fights", eventually you lose at the end and they fuck you into submission etc

Commando is pretty trash, honestly. Unless you only have enough of it to use the explosive hand cannon in Theed/Coronet to lag people out.

As for Krayts, just about anyone can solo one with full buffs (MDoc, food, dancer/musician), full comp armor, and enough defense (block,dodge, etc). Swordsman is honestly one of the better solo professions with slight healing or a full stack build.

If you want a ranged build, I'd suggest:

>carbineer/BH
>pistols/pike or fencing
>rifleman/MDoc
>rifleman/Master CM/some doc
>Master CM/Master doc - this requires top tier poisons/diseases, and can be used for either PK or PvE (full time healer)
>Master CM/doc/melee stack - similar to above, but this is really only for PK as the poisons/diseases are too expensive to use for PvE

Its more Bioware being lazy and writing just that one story with no exceptions. They could've made the fights turn out different at least for force and non-force users.

The fact force users have to suffer for non-force users going through the same ordeal in the same manner makes it all looks dumb.

Its the same reason why your character, if being a force user, gets pushed around like a ragdoll as if you're nothing. It's a cheap compromise by Bioware.

Instead of making it amazing and at least have some difference depending on class you play, everyone now suffers for the fact they took the middle ground and noone benefits from it.
