Black Desert Online is an MMO by Pearl Abyss currently in development on an English language port for western audiences, with additional changes. It's a sandbox MMORPG that features action-oriented combat, open world PVP territory control, trading, player housing, and more.
>What's the difference between the KR/JP builds and the NA/EU builds?
The NA/EU builds are using a new, Buy-to-Play model.
The KR/JP builds of the game are free to play.
The NA/EU builds also do not have the blader/plum & kunoichi/ninja classes planned for release.

You pay upfront, 30 dollars (minimum) and there is no subscription fee. There will be a cash shop, which allows you to buy cosmetics, pets, and vouchers for things like skill resets. You also get access to the next (and possibly final) beta test (CBT2) by pre-purchasing.

Any idea what this says? I'm trying to open the Launcher. If I open the Downloader it doesn't have any settings option, so I'm stuck with a 0.3mb/s download of 28 gig, which will take days.

If you're trying to start the launcher without having downloaded anything of course it'll throw an error at you. Download the most recent version of the game files you can, either through a torrent or one of the few places it's uploaded, overwrite everything in that folder with them and then you only need to download the latest few patches at 0.3mb/s.
Just follow the KR install guide to the letter and you should be fine.

I'm slowly losing interest in the game.
There are just so many things wrong with it.
1.No Open world PVP
It's a MMO, yet there is no real open world PVP, it's just PK and you can only kill 5 people in a row before having to grind for 10hours straight.
2.No player to player trade.
Yeah goldsellers suck, but holy shit killing player trade only for that dumb reason?
3.Fixed prices for AH.
Fucking sucks, this is pure cancer.
4.Can't steal goods from players doing trades.
Why does that feature even exist?
5.Cancerous energy system in EU/NA (just like LP in AA)
Great, not only am I not able to give my guild mates the food that I cooked, I'm even limited how much I can gather and cook in general.
There is literally no reason for it to be an online game.
Sry but I can understand why that game failed in KR.
