I finished giving LR to SE asia and the Philippines. Population there should grow now.

I also finished doing the pops in the Congo. The dark brown in HPM is african minor while the light blue in vanilla is the same pop.

In the end, the net cultures is +1. I joined Ruanda and Runi cultures in one, but I added the Chokwe (which also represent the Luvale) to Angola/Congo.

HPM, I'm Yugoslav anon, I didn't catch your final response last night but I saw it today.

There wasn't a problem with implementing the suggestions I made before, because I didn't advocate making core-removal decisions between Yugoslavia and all affected GPs, just with Italy, which itself had shaky claims to the lands it shares cores on with Yugoslavia.

My specific suggestions were to remove Istria and the one Italian core in Croatia as a necessity for forming Yugoslavia. This is both because those regions are multiethnic and so not necessarily considered initially as a core part of Yugoslavia, and so the player doesn't need to attack Italy to gain it if Italy forms and takes it before you can (which regularly occurs). I also suggested that, if Yugoslavia formed with Albanian territory in its sphere, Yugoslavia simply absorb Albania (although not gain Albanian as an accepted culture) in initial formation.

I then suggested a decision which Yugoslavia's sphere master or Yugoslavia itself could take which would start negotiations with Italy over cores. The options were a lump-sum payment from Italy to Yugoslavia/Yugoslavia's puppet master which resulted in Italy retaining full cores on Istria and the dalmatian coast; a land exchange whereby Italy keeps north Istria while Yugoslavia gains southern Istria and the Dalmatian coast (in this option Yugoslavia/its puppet master also pays a moderate sum to Italy); and a third option where Yugoslavia/its puppet master pays a large sum to Italy in return for Italy revoking its cores on the Dalmatian coast and all of Istria. Any of these options could be rejected by Italy, and the decision could only be taken before Mass Politics, as I reasoned after Mass Politics it would have been considered impossible to construct a treaty such as this.

I'll reiterate that, at the time, you agreed that these were good suggestions and that you would implement them at a future date.

I've always assumed that when RGOs can't afford to pay the defined minimum wage value (pretty sure there's always a true minimum wage even if the reforms aren't taken) they fire people until they can, but it's also possible that the world RGOs just collaborate to produce not more than some % in excess of world demand, and your RGOs hire/fire accordingly.

Unfortunately it looks like clerks are struggling to meet their needs, because they consume much more goods than craftsmen but receive the same wages they do. I don't think there's any other way of fixing this other than reducing the needs of clerks, but this doesn't seem like a good option because the middle class should be large consumers of consumer goods in the late game.

Playing as a nomad in CK2+ I'm getting assraped by the clans wanting more land because everywhere I take over has a tribe living there and when i give the land to one of the clans it doesn't lower the clan land demand. It's foolish that Yugoslavia's puppet master has a decision to give Yugoslavia cores on Albania as soon as Yugoslavia is formed, then. Why bother at all? Unless the player forms Yugoslavia, it serves no purpose; even if you're the Ottomans, you can give Yugoslavia cores on your territory, but there's no further decision to shift the land to them. Either the decision to extend cores to Albania should be restricted to a technology level and yourself and Yugoslavia being at war with the controller of Albania, or the same technology restriction should exist, but when eventually taken the decision which extends Yugoslav cores to Albania should also annex those Albanian lands to Yugoslavia immediately.

Anyway, if it's not done for release that's fine. But I also suggest a minor decision that can be taken with Greece to resolve the core conflict with them over Albania. I know it might seem trifling, but it's seriously annoying that a single province completely precludes an alliance with Greece.

You can see where the decision has limited effectiveness; you'd need to break your own sphere and go to war with them just to give Yugoslavia a bit more land, whereas whoever controls Albania is likely more useful to you as a sphereling.

You can give them cores on Albania, but won't be able to actually cede the land to them. In fact, it prevents you from allying them for the rest of the game because of the core conflict, and you can only call them into wars manually (they won't auto-join like ally-vassals do).
