The Gaki or "Starving Ghosts" are the ghosts of people who lived their lives in greed and avarice and for paying the price, they are forced to suffer for eternity with appetites for some of the most disgusting things such as rusty nails and feces and sometimes, depending on the severity of their sins, some Gaki will crave the most rare or specific things like diamonds or "the world's most delicious truffle" and they'll gag or get even hungrier if they eat anything else. Other cultures such as China and India also have their own versions of Gaki that work in a similar fashion.

One of my personal favorite Yokai.

Not really. Been leveling Damona and Blizzaria, but Blizzaria ended up with the higher spirit, so it may not be 100% accurate. Damona is a mixed attacker and has a much higher/balanced physical attack, probably needed considering her soultimate is also physical-based.

Yeah, those three especially were the best. Easily my favorite side quest and characters. Everything about it was top tier. The personality it brought it Whisper, the cute childlike earnest of playing pretend detectives, and even the surprise twist.

Knowing my luck it would just be easier to try and recruit the III's since anything higher than a D has taken hours to get a single one. Ol' Saint Trick took two hours to get one of, wasted like 50 milks. Tengloom took almost an hour and a half to get two of, around two hours to get two Eneflies, three hours to get four Chansins, close to an hour and a half for two Happierres. I'm convinced if you have one Yokai in your "Collected" section the recruitment rate plummets.

Quite actually, there's a bunch of stuff I really like like most of the Yo-kai, all the areas, the music, the underground especially, and the main characters. It's the capture game that's completely killing me, wanting 1 of everything is proving to be pretty nuts, I'm at like 50 hours in with 113 to show for it. The starter Jibanyan is at level 46 and he's been with me for about 40 of those hours.

I dunno, it seems more like that guy got a pack with a mistakenly switched-up assortment of medals. Literally every pack I've bought has contained one of these groups of 3 (my Azure Dragon came with Komasan and Undy, etc.), and people have apparently even figured out that the placement of the packs isn't random. Can I just say, I am in freaking LOVE with Dasocks, he is easily my favorite Murican Yokai so far.

He looks like something out of Bump in The Night which is a huge plus for me because I love that show!

Shinuchi doesnt actually have quite a few of the version exclusive youkai i heard.

The way it works is that if Shinuchi reads save information from other versions then you can get those from that version in Shinuchi. Shinuchi still has some exclusives too, but not really as much as Ganso and Honke do. Also last i heard you need both versions if you want the spirit forms of the foxy grandpas in Shinuchi.

Around the first real boss or second boss is when things usually click. Try to do some sidequests if you're tired of main quest.

So it looks like you can't have more than six of a Yokai befriended and then recruit more. I noticed it when I was trying to use items on the Castelius III trios I was fighting and "Use on enemy" was greyed out. If I was fighting random enemies and there was a single Castelius III in the crew I could feed it if targeted if any of the other enemies were alive, but when the other two Yokai died and he was left it wouldn't let me feed him. Would have been nice to know this could happen since I was going for about an hour without a single recruit and save and quits didn't fix it, but once I fused some off suddenly I got a recruit and could feed them items again.

These pointless abilities really need to be fixed.

Like all they do is deter you even more from picking a youkai. Random chance to recieve critical hits with no bonus or random chance to attack your allies with nothing to make up for it is retarded. It might suit them lore-wise but for fights it's just stupid.

Should Espy be a reoccurring joke, or just a one-time thing? I think I'm going to go with a plot this time with multiple Yo-kai sprinkled in.

In other news, I'm having trouble creating Ero Watch for one huge reason: normies. Although we know that 2D =/= Real, I'm worried that fics/pics of Keita or Keizo would be too much for Wordpress/Blogspot and I frankly don't want trouble from the sites for something I didn't draw.
