Actually the other cryo pods failing was the Institute deciding to kill everybody but you for no reason.

And the dead staff is just the result of the security staff attempting to escape the Vault to avoid starving roughly 6 months after the bombs fell.

no, the lists dont automatically merge so depending on which is higher in your load order one or the other wont ever appear in vendor/loot lists despite the data for them being loaded by the game
you can make a compatibility patch by manually merging them but thats really tedious if you have more than 2 mods or even just 2 mods if they alter a lot of the lists

no thats not what a bash patch does, thats just meant to fix singular conflicts where something is overwritten in your load order by a blank cell or unchanged default settings
when lists conflict where one is x and another is y the program doesnt know which is meant to take precedent and it cant apply both changes

ill give an example, hopefully im not too tired to explain this properly
say default X gun damage is 8, one of the dlcs raises it to 9, the dlc loads after the base game so the gun will have 9 damage with just that in your load
BUT if you have another mod loaded after that dlc that alters that specific item but leaves the gun at default 8 damage, the lower order loads after the dlc and changes it back to 8 damage

a bashed patch will make that change for you again and bring it back up to 9 damage by automatically detecting the conflict and copying the change over, which is why you have to load a bashed patch at the bottom of your load order
BUT if that damage were 7 instead of 8 it wouldnt know whether to pick 7 or 9 as the change from 8 and would basically just ignore the conflict

Sawyer is a good guy. Joshua Graham was the best part about HH, which is in my opinion the weakest DLC (in comparison to Avellone's stuff) but it's still good.

Well this sucks. I learned that in the institute questline there's a mission called "Battle at bunker hill" where a huge battle takes place and I could have informed the brotherhood in my BoS play through. I never did any of the institute quests because I knew I didn't want to side with them

If yours is at 0% something else has gone wrong with your weights. What are you trying to port? If its NV / FO3 shit I cant help you, but if its Skyrim, just copy the weights and it should be fine.

I like the shape of the mesh a lot more than the ones they use for the bandanas in Fallout 4, and would like to use them to create a replacer.

Are there any tips for generating random encounters? I seem to get very few of them. I watched a video where this guy was just traveling to graygarden and walking across a stretch of road, and every single time he got a different encounter, while I only got one the first time. I tried another location and every time there's only a ghoul sitting there going on about the bad canned meat, I don't know why I only seem to get one at each location

I'm not porting any more hats until Geck comes. Sorry man. They just keep crashing me and the only way for me to get them to work is to replace the head. I don't know why but using hats as references causes crashes, and the only hat reference that works causes heads to go invisible.
