But as for keybind mashing gameplay typical to these games, I'll let you in on a little secret: all MMOs are terrible games with terrible gameplay. The 'questing' is repetitive and boring and grindy, raids are buggy and poorly tuned and completely boring on the 20th run, your character story isn't as good as a solo RPG or RTS where you are actually playing the main hero, the rich and deep lore is written by Q-grade writers and is all Mary-Sue characters and retcons, PVP is unbalanced and zergy and a complete joke compared to a dedicated PvP game. You don't play a MMO for its amazing gameplay or 'content', those are just the means not the ends. You play it for the meta-content and the meta-context. The pixel dragon is 'epic' when you are doing it with 30 other comrades, you grind the ten rats because it matters in the context of the world/progression, you shoot the tower at 4AM unopposed because it has impact in a persistent world, and you hate the guy who owns it and want to ruin his internet pixels. That's why people do it, plus basic human nature: groupish thinking, us vs them, being in an e-war since IRL war sucks, and any other subconscious instinctual schemes. Of course you don't understand human nature, and you are trying to discover it by doing equations and reinvent the wheel in your basement, when you could just read "The Righteous Mind" by J. Haidt like I told you... It'll release you from your eternal torment of trying to decode "fun" and "why they do/don't do that".

Guild leader here.

First you buy a conquest tent from the guild vendor and place it at a certain node, then I believe you have to get your workers and maybe other guild members workers to build it up. After that you can use one of the menus that pops up when you hit ESC to see what other guilds are setting up to contest the node and what time the battle is going to take place. Once that time comes, it's a simple attack and defend teamfight where you have to destroy your enemy's command post with normal attacks and with siege, while preventing them from doing the same to you. Last command post standing at the end of the fight wins. I'm not 100% sure whether the fight ends when there is only one command post left or if the potential victors have to go all-out defense to prevent the fight being called a draw. You can purchase or craft items to help with this like cannons and elephant mounts.

The plan for CBT2 is to have a lot of people powerlevel and focus on testing out these mechanics, as long as sieges are actually enabled. Should be a good time.

Animal friends that follow you around, autoloot a corpse once every 10 seconds which is why you need 3 to have any impact on the number of bodies you drop while farming, and they also have a unique thing like the dog will bark if a pvp flagged player is close, the cat detects harvestable resources somehow, and the bird one locates "elite mobs"

Dog one could be pretty bullshit depending on the range on it, but seems like you could play around it by being in stealth and not flagging until right before you attack.
