From the poet view, what i like from Triss personality is that she is caring about people, yes! and she has that sensibility, she put an artificial shield to protect herself from her feelings, and i like to remove that shield and like a dagger, touching her heart, troubling her, exposing the feelings she tries so much to hide. Triss is much more human than Yen, she is not afraid to show her emotions, in all her missions with Geralt, you can see the amazing chemistry they have, you can almost feel the love in the air. I love how strong she is helping the mages yet at the same time insecure about Geralt wanting to be with her. It is such an amazing moment when Geralt tells her he loves her and she decides to stay. Going into TW3 I was afraid CDPR will force Geralt to be with Yen, but the way they did the Triss romance is amazing, all the scenes she has are so much better than those with Yen, and the new dialogue is also amazing and is really showing how much Gerlat really loves Triss.

I much prefer the scene in the tent before the last battle, just giving her a hug warms my heart, she is so adorable in that scene, making a concerned face as Geralt mentions how days in Kovir will be short and cold, only to see her worries swept away as Geralt starts talking about nights being long and how he can't wait. In the witcher 2 how do I fix the input delay? My fps is fine but there's a good 1 to 2 second delay on pressing buttons or moving the mouse and it registering in the game.

After reading the books I got the feeling that Yennefer took advantage of Ciri's loneliness to implant herself as a "mother figure". I don't know how to explain it but it's like Yen wanted a daughter desperately, saw Ciri feeling abandoned (by geralt, by her dead family and kingdom, isolated by the other girls) and used that to present herself as the motherly figure. Notice how in the game Ciri barely pays attention to Yen: she has grown out of it and doesn't need that toxic relationship anymore.

Triss was there for Geralt and Ciri when they needed her in BoE, they were also there for her, she saved Geralt at Thanned, stopped the Rivia pogrom.

Triss was there for Geralt in TW1 to defend Kaer Morhen, she nursed him back after the first Azar Javed fight, she saved him from Adda, helped him defeat the Zeagul, fought by his side against Jacques de Aldersberg.

She was there for him in Flotsam, deflecting Scoia'tael arrows, she swore to help Geralt find Yen, and Geralt went after her when Letho kidnapped her, killed the whole Nilffgardian camp for her, she took Geralt's side against the lodge.

She helped Geralt find Ciri, helped at Kaer Morhen battle, saving Ciri's ass in the process, she helped find Phillipa, helped in the final battle against the Hunt.

Triss did many great things for Geralt and she deserves a happy ending she got in Kovir with him.

To be fair even though she's absent for most of the game, Triss's kidnapping, Lodge affiliation, and betrayal of Geralt comprise a major subplot. Just not one that's intended to be developed in the sequel like Geralt's search for Yennefer, since it's largely wrapped up in TW2. They gave Triss a sort of redemption arc in TW3 but it's a fairly minor note in that game in terms of the main story.

Now,I'm going to second walkthrough from breaking point.

I want to take a Triss,if I can. Because,I feel it's a more natural story plot rather than take a Yen.

First of all, I'm player from "Witcher2".So, I don't have much knowledge about Yen.
But, according to Witcher2 story plot, Yen is kidnapped by wild hunter guys.And, Geralt
lost important part of his memory by some kind of accident. Letho helped Geralt from accident.
But he didin't tell about Yen to the Geralt at the ending scene.My Geralt just drank with Letho,
and good by.
Did Geralt recover his memory of love interest with Yen or Not? That's the most important point.
I think Geralt still forget about Yen in the Witcher3. Obviously, Witcher2 describes Geralt and
his new love mate Triss as good mood couple at the first sequence.And,also Geralt said like this,
"I'm tired of king foltest's guardian roll. I want to back to the nomal witcher life cycle. And,
live in somewhere with "Triss" peacefully." See? There is nothing "Yen" matter in the witcher2 story plot.
When I saw witcher2 ending scene, I think like this."All right, Geralt is going with Triss,
He'll protect her from any kind of threat.Because, she is important woman for him." Yen is no more
important woman for Geralt.Because he forget about Yen completely..... Then Withcher3 start!
