Simply that Suzu was a character I grew attracted to sometime in early February. I posted as much as I could about the character, which wasn't much aside from the Raide drawings, and eventually more people started to move over and see how a route with a narcoleptic could work. I would take credit for her popularity surge but I know even without me, she would have still had a following eventually.

As for Saki, it's because she wasn't as well known during the beginning of the threads. Her and Rika weren't discovered till later in the threads. Both eventually got their routes as well but their diseases are more heartbreaking rather than the 'cute' of Suzu's.

I have a feeling that this will very quickly turn into an argument about canon.

Look, if we have nothing in the game but that CG to go on (and those aren't always a reliable metric for determining height, e.g, Emi looking taller in some of her CGs than she actually is), and you discount anything Suriko says about her (she's a shorty), the next best thing is the 'official' art by the KS artists. Raide and Moekki drew her a bit shorter than Miki in the early days, but the most most recent KS illustrator to draw her was Weee, and this pic may be the best reference we have of what the devs might consider as her height.

Was this pic influenced by SC? Most likely.

If 4LS were to announce the development of an official Suzu route tomorrow, would Weee--or whoever the next artist is--draw her that short? Probably.

If Weee were to draw Suzu of her own volition, without any request by Suriko, would Suzu still be as short as she is pictured here, about the same height as Emi? I don't think she's in the habit of being inconsistent with her designs, so yes.

Because of Summer's Clover's status as fanfic, you can dismiss anything Miki says about Suzu's height if some reason you can't stand the idea of her being shorter than the other girls. But whether you see this as KS art or SC art, disagreeing so strongly with one of the artists responsible for her design (in fact, the earliest upload of Suzu on the Shimmie was a Weee piece) simply because it's related to a dev fanfic is a bit pedantic methinks.

General threads for like Starcraft and League of Legends were big on /v/ and it annoyed people.

Then KS came out and people were bitching that it wasn't even a videogame and that generals were ruining the board (I was initially against the change but I think it was a positive one after the fact). KSG was just the drop that broke the camel's back, not the entire reason.

Generals used to dominate /v/. It's the reason why /vp/ was created too, pokemon generals attracted a ton of posters and would always be on the front page, same with LoL and SC generals. Pokemon got moved off first since that's all anyone was complaining about at the time, but when KS came out people were angry with general threads in general and we all got booted out to /vg/.

You're about to get some schooling.

So /v/ used to have general threads. Quite a few, actually. However they didn't move too quickly unless a game was JUST released.

Then /ksg/ happened. We went through threads in under an hour, usually around half an hour. You literally could not visit /v/ without seeing /ksg/ on the front page. The constant threads dominated everything else on the board, and people begged moot for help.

So then he made /vg/ as a containment board for /ksg/ and all other generals, even though it's only rival were pokethreads, which weren't nearly as fast but people kept reposting thread after thread after thread and so /v/ was flooded with pokemon. Then /vp/ was made.

We are literally the reason /vp/ exists. Every other general on /v/ was tolerable with it's posting rates, even if the content was mostly shitpost.

Hey everyone, I'm new here.

I'm a young woman on the spectrum, and was diagnosed as such as a teenager. In many ways I've been lucky: I have a very wealthy and loving family. However, my autism/Aspergers has made living very difficult for me. Currently I live with my older sister (2 years older). I love her very much and I know she loves me very much too, but I do sometimes feel like I'm a burden. I have never told her this and I'm sure she wouldn't ever say so to me, but I'm sure it's true. For one, she makes me lock myself in my room now when she has a date over, because she knows I'd ruin it. Once I accidentally left some of my LEGO bricks in the living room (I LOVE playing with LEGO despite my age and gender) and I could hear her date make a comment about it, asking if she had any kids. I knew she was embarrassed.

The biggest problem is this: My sister is an actress (this is not a problem), which causes her to often be away from home for long periods of time (this IS a problem). I get scared when I'm alone, especially at night. Right now, I have a bunk bed so she can sleep in the top bunk when I feel a scary night is coming or I had a bad dream (however, she has also told me I should "get a real bed" because of my age, which gave me anxiety), but she obviously can't sleep in the bed when she's not even home! Sometimes I'm allowed to come on set but usually I'm not. I also often get confused when I see her in movies and something bad happens to her or she does something bad.

She's basically my "handler" and I'm lost without her in many ways. I often mistake my own reflection for home invaders. Usually she explains to me that it was just the bathroom mirror/a window, but, again, when she's not home she can't do that. Calling her up in the middle of the night while she's working to tell her there's a strange woman that looks exactly like me (...) in the house feels so stupid. I get anxiety from a lot of silly things (commercials suddenly coming on on television, the sounds certain foods make, etc.) and when she's not home I feel so small and alone in the dark (I often forget to turn the lights on in time and will be lost in darkness). We also often have miscommunication. For example, recently my sister's suggested we were going out to eat. I took some nice food with me, expecting her to do the same. However, when we got to where she wanted to go it turned out we were going to a restaurant and I took my food with me for no reason at all. She didn't get mad, but I'm sure she thinks I'm just an idiot.

This year, for the first time, I let my sister go to an NYE party while I stayed home alone and played with LEGO and watched a movie. I lost track of time and when the fireworks started I got spooked and had to call her to comfort me. I'm such a mess. When I know she's getting home I spend the entire day peeking through the curtains to see if she's coming home already and when I finally see her on the driveway I sometimes nearly wet my panties.

I really don't know what to do. I feel like I'm a burden on my amazing sister's life, and I don't want her to give up everything just to take care of her little sister that can't function on her own. We've tried getting a special counselor, but those just make me uncomfortable.

If anybody has ever been in a similar situation, please tell me. I love any help I can get.
