Character designs are all excellent. It's rare that there are this many waifus AND fuccbois that I like. No other game would I tolerate an all male team but in GBF my Light Reverse Harem is fun.

The music is top tier as well, I love listening to the Celeste island BGM on loop, then there's the great boss music like the Baha theme.

Gameplay is reminiscent of old school JRPGs that are hard to come across these days. The combat is turnbased but has more depth than most others like it. Characters like Naru, Yoda and Beatrix are a lot of fun to experiment with.

Also, I need something to grind to keep me occupied. GBF offers just about the right ration of grind:reward to make it enjoyable to watch my time invested into my teams pay off.

And of course, there's an entire race of shortstacks and Djeeta exists. So I could play for that alone.

Upgrade the AK74 first.

Assault rifles are the all around weapon and are one of the most useful weapons in the game.

Farming the character daily is easy money grinding if it's a kill regular mook type scenario since headshots instant kill the base mooks regardless of weapon power.

Clearing through scenario mode isn't extremely important, but weapon blueprint weapons are usually half price compared to the weapons already in the shop.

Consider getting to the point M16 blueprints drop and farming up an M16. It should cost 75k then some more for upgrading it fully. The M16 can carry you for quite a while on all the characters.

If you can manage farming the last level of the character daily, it's worth noting that the 5* weapons obtainable are vastly cheaper compared to other 5* weapons at 250k each. They seem to have revamped how blueprint drops work so it's much easier to get them. Keep in mind the chances of a drop seem to lower heavily as you get more and more blueprints.
