Redpill me on a 25/50 str arcane build /Bbg/ Ive already ran through the game on a skill, quality, and skill/bloodtinge build. I was gonna focus on the wheel, holy moonlight sword, and kos parasite, as well as tools. Am I in for a good time? The right swipe is a double you have to dodge backwards for.

How do I get good at blood starved beast?

I have no antidotes, no fire paper, no pungent blood cocktails, and no insight.

First stage is easy enough, second stage is kind of annoying, and if I make a single mistake in the third stage, I'm dead. One hit, I'm poisoned. And with no antidotes, there's little hope in winning after that. Two hits and I'm dead anyways. I just don't know where to go to avoid his attacks. All of them seem to have such agressive tracking that it doesn't matter. And then there's the grab that's an instant kill.

It's an R1 mashy phantom range weapon like the saw spear, but with a better pvp moveset. The first R1 is a step forward that has iframes somewhere in the middle of the animation and crosses as much distance as a rifle spear charged R2

It's one of those weapons that a bad player can desperately mash R1 with to win, because it just hands you phantom hits as long as you keep attacking and there's fuck all that can be done about it.

Get anti-poison clothes, I think White Church set is good for it. It's not perfect, but it helps. You will NEED antidotes. If you really have to, grind some echoes and buy antidotes.

Saw spear is good for a STR/SKL split focusing on skill, Cleaver is better for a split focusing on STR. Both are amazing weapons. I think I was level 15ish at the time but most of my points went into bloodtinge (the gun stat) so I wouldn't have been getting a lot of damage from scaling. The saw spear was +3.

The idea is to just stay on him. As long as you're on top of him (to the side though) hammering his face with R1 he won't even put the poison aura on in phase 3. If he tries to you can backstab him out of the animation.
