You can get a arcane droplet 19% in mensis. You can get a nourishing 15% radial in mensis. You can get an odd arcane triangle in the DLC, and a 10% triangle under iosefka's clinic.

You can get offshape arcane drops around 8% from ayy's in the forest but if you're going to be korean enough to farm offshapes you might as well just go to the chalices.

Arcane builds always end up in the chalices anon, accept it.

Just a list of some things I'd like to see change in DS3.

1) Buff spells scale with stats.

For example, instead of CMW just adding 50 damage, then multiplying all magic damage by a fixed number, why not have CMW add an amount of damage dependent on your INT?

2) Upgraded weapons require better stats to use.

For example, if the base Greatsword requires 20 STR to weild, then the +1 Greatsword should require 21 STR to wield. This way, people can't twink their characters without buffing their stats.

3) The ability to change the color of weapons and armor.

Have an NPC who will "dye" your gear a different color or have differently colored variants of armor and weapons in the game. Maybe you like Elite Knight set from DS1/DS2, but you want it red instead of blue. I don't think it would take much time or effort to add a few alternate color palates for each piece of gear.


5) More transparency on weapon scaling.

Instead of giving me the standard E-S ranks on damage scaling, why not give me the percentage?

6) The ability to see what a weapon/piece of armor will do to my stats before I buy it.

7) More linear scaling of stats.

Why are there soft caps for stats? Leveling most any stat beyond 50 is pointless in most circumstances. We are getting a triple "whammy" of diminishing returns on stats. At least DS2 got rid of premature hard caps.

A) Standard law of diminishing returns. (+10 damage when you are only doing 100 damage is nice, +10 when you are doing 500 damage is barely noticeable)
B) Higher levels cost more souls.
C) Higher levels give less boosts.

I don't mind the first two. Diminishing returns is just a fact of life and higher levels should cost more souls, but I don't understand requiring 2-3 levels in a stat to get a benefit.

Thoughts? I didn't type this btw, found it online and since I know everyone here will be probably be getting DS3 (and I like this better than /dsg/) I thought it would be appropriate to post here.

You must have the root chalice of Ihyll and Lower Loran, so you still have to do those story chalices if you want 15% hp rune, 20% stam rune, radial phys gems or waning gems.

I've been summoning there all evening and it's either summon at the gate the help with kos, or summon at the start to help get all the shortcuts unlocked/sharkmemes killed.
