while it is true that warbros had their jolly on CM forums, CM did saw warbros as a enemy to the point of absurdity and paranoia. when we adquired the rail, it was believed to be the sole work of our clan, wich possessed under 150 dudes to run the missions. the pubs were so vocal about such support that they did not noticed warbros had nothing to do with CM's downfall. i still remember to this day, running the 12th time, exausted, but with pubs saying things like WARBROS #1! every time they noticed my clan badge.

the pubs had ran against CM. they won it for us. we barely amunted to a fifth of the runs necessary to win the rail, with less that a tenth of the money necessary to win it by force. in the end TWO mistakes were done by CM, placing the bounty incorrectly when facing warbros, thus forcing the pubs to run for our meager offer, and secondly was to see their treasurer commit treason, where he placed 200 tickets for 1 million each, thus screwing royally with the last funds CM had at a later point. to make matters worse, i do know that back then a rail was estimated to cost 600 million to 1 billion credits, leaving quite obvious that CM had simply collapsed under its own weight.

in the beginning there were credits but guess what, clan taxes would eventually ruin the sectors themselves, so noone would be willing to lose the dark sector grind for dark sector rail fight. the choice was between whoever would do the leastest tax on the rail and thats it, noone can do less that 0% so we got the huge stalemate there is now

then DE added at least one rare mod to the DS competition. if you wanted to grind for that mod you needed not to do the usual game mode but the rail fight. after everyone got theirs, none had again a reason to do rails.

to make matters worse DE still quelch anyone trying to talk about fighting in DS rails. more specifically there are several alliances that were silently banned of the official forum for rallying or planning to rally against owned dark sectors, thus ruining the leftover of that update

newbies and shills dont understand this, but we DO have excellent reasons to hate DE. DS rails was no different that gradivus, it could be done, but like invasion theres no reason to do them because theres no reward. whoever starts a rail way right now will be hated because he will shut down a common grind spot for everyone

There's no real reward in them. Everything collected by the owning clan goes into their vault, so it's useless except to fuel dojo expansion but if you have rails you probably have that finished up anyways. On top of that the only reward for people partaking in the conflict was credits, and after several changes to how the conflicts work (from Sab, to MD, to finally into PvP) no one was willing to run this shit for Credits alone.

Look at this shit. THAT'S THE ATTACKER'S SPAWN. You could literally just walk up and start shooting people as they spawned in.

Oh, and like the rest of Warframe it's P2P. Guess what happens if the attackers all ragequit after getting camped?
